But, what happens is my comboot menu, which is default, loads right away and the ontimeout only happens when I escape out of the menu. May be we can add some kind of keyword to the config file which syslinux ignores and the comboot menu does something with it. Hi! I've got a USB key with several tools (small linux, memtest86+) booting via syslinux. But now I have to add powermax.exe (a MSDOS tool to test Maxtor disks) on this key. As I've always been on Unix/Linux system, I don't know what to do to run powermax.exe from syslinux. I would like to develop a system where by I can boot any of the machines on my system - and select from a menu what I would like that particular client to do. For example, maybe load a bootdisk image from a network share, and boot that. Or boot the first partition on the local disk.
