more on PXELinux confiuration file woes
I performed an experiment in which I had dhcpd specify a named file ("foo")
instead of
one based on a client's MAC address. Lo and behold, the same problem
occured. The PXE
stack requested and was served the right file, the kernel loaded as did the
initrd. But again, the
boot sequence stopped at "Ready."
Keep in mind that the contents of the file are the same as was in the

memdisk : booting OpenBSD and NetBSD
hi there.
I'm trying to boot several OSes floppy images from a cdrom via memdisk.
Actually, Linux and FreeBSD boots fine, but, while i'm using the same method,
I couldn't get into booting netbsd nor openbsd.
The boot process seems to hang up, in those two cases, when the second stage
native bootloader try to load the kernel (i'm not absolutely sure about this).
The native first

Centos 7 NetInstall: Pane is dead
Hi list,
I downloaded the netinstall iso, burned it to disk, and tried to install on my old Dell PowerEdge 2900 (Intel Xeon / 8Gb ram). Machine is connected to a KVM. The Centos 6 netinstall iso worked flawlessly on this exact configuration two days ago.
The first thing anaconda does after verifying the media is complain that "pane is dead" in the lower left corner. At this point,

MGCP Phone and Asterisk PBX
Hello,
Sorry for posting again my question about MGCP Phone and Asterisk But I
can't use it.
I'd like to know weather it is a pb of my confiuration (mgcp.conf), My
IP Phone device or asterisk.
I include my mgcp.conf file and may send some debug trace.
Thank you for any feedback.
Best regards,
Daniel ANDRE

vector allocation error
I am running and analysis of sequencing data uisng the EdgeR package. I have
received the following error:
Using grid search to estimate tagwise dispersion. Error: cannot allocate
vector of size 307.3 Mb
indicating the memory allocation is too small. How would I change this
confiuration in R so that the script can run with the files I have?
Help appreciated, Josquin

OT: CentOS hosting recommendations
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a dedicated server with CentOS. Any recommendations?
Ideally I would like to use one of the CentOS sponsors, but I think
that there are far too many to be able to compare them all by
refreshing (maybe there is a page with just a list of links to sponsors
but I couldn't find it).
Thanks
Gabriel

If you define the problem as the limitations of system clock based on a
32-bit representation of seconds relative to the epoch, then the answer
is "yes."? The Linux kernel uses a 64-bit clock on 64-bit systems.
Any given application may store dates in a format of its own

our AD domain is hosted by two samba AD domain controllers version 4.12.6
- replication between controllers is fine, no problems.
- no schema errors.
- no database errors, all fine.
- no CPU utilizations
- wthout noticeable bandwidth utilization
Recently we have deployed Azure AD connector on dedicated windows system
(system is domain member server). since this deployment we are observing

Azure AD Connect and replication issues
Hi Michal,
Seems we are doing similar things at the moment: getting samba to work
with azure AD.
We also see the high CPU usage on the DC that the Azure AD Connect
server connected to. Between 70 - 100 percent in our case.
We are not seeing any replication issues after azure AD Connect, and I
have a script that automatically checks replication every few minutes.
I was the one reporting the

[PATCH RFC v2 4/7] virtio-pci: define layout for virtio 1.0
From: Rusty Russell <rusty at rustcorp.com.au>
Based on patches by Michael S. Tsirkin <mst at redhat.com>, but I found it
hard to follow so changed to use structures which are more
self-documenting.
