Maximum line length of APPEND option in PXELINUX
Hi,
I just replaced the pxelinux.0 of some 2.x version by pxelinux.0 vers. 3.0.7.
Some of the PXE Clients refused to boot thereafter (just stopped after reading
the config file). I noticed that the APPEND line was too long.
Is this intentional? What is the maximum length of the APPEND option line?
Thanks, Thomas

[ISOLINUX] No boot: prompt with ISOLINUX 3.07
I found that the version of isolinux.bin (and the debug version too)
doesn't work on my Via C3 system. I get the SAY text, but never the boot:
prompt. C-A-Del doesn't reboot either.
The debug version does not print anything after announcing it's opening
the config file. Only the single SAY text follows. The cursor sits on
the next blank line, useless (no responses to key presses).

syslinux 3.11 patch for handling both KVM and serial console input
We modified our copy of syslinux. We're now sharing those
modifications. That's so that:
1. We fulfill our requirements under the GPL
2. Our modifications might be picked up and included in the base
code. That way we wouldn't have to make the same
modifications, again, later.
Since we're using CentOS 5.3, and CentOS 5.3 derives from RHEL
5.3, and RHEL 5.3 uses

bootstrapping - number of items to replace is not a multiple of replacement length
Hello,
I'm new to boostrapping and I'd need some help to understand the error
message that pops up when I run my script.
I have a data.frame with 73 lines and 21 column.
I am running a stepwise regression to find the best model using the R
function "step".
I apply bootstrapping to obtain model coefficients.
This is my script:

Accessing command_line from core C code
I tried to replace display_labels asm code (ui.inc) with new C code (pm_display_labels),
but the data i access in command_line doesn't seem to be always up to date.
The patch i am working on is only for PXELINUX because of different vkernel structure:

[GIT PULL] elflink core
Hi,
I recently ran into an issue where the dependencies generated in
modules.dep created a circular reference, which meant that qemu spun
forever in modules_load_dependencies().
I did think about detecting this kind of circular dependency at
modules.dep generation time but if we ever move to using DT_NEEDED to
track dependencies we would need this functionality in the elflink core
anyway.

[PATCH 0/9] elflink fixes
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com>
Here are the patches that I've got queued up based on the very helpful
feedback I received from people testing Syslinux 5.00-pre9. Unless
anyone has any concerns these will make it into Syslinux 5.00-pre10.
Matt Fleming (9):
pxe: Don't call open_config() from the pxe core
ldlinux: Print a warning if no config file is found

[PATCH] mboot using module path
Hi,
We are using pxelinux at my company to test our product. And there are
limitations
that we have hit in the past w.r.t. the max length of a path, or the
max length of a module
name (in mboot.c / mboot.c32). We've used workarounds in the past, and
reorganized the
directory structure, but we face that problem again. Out of the 128 /
FILENAME_MAX chars
that can be used, 110 - 120 go to the

[PATCH 1/1] COMBOOT: add get config file full name
From: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>
COMBOOT API: Add get config full file name to SYSLINUX
Signed-off-by: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com>
---
Returns the full configuration file name. Int 22h AX 001Eh for now as
it appears that the COMBOOT API is designed to be strictly sequential.
The API gets extended but only implemented (for now) for SYSLINUX in
ldlinux.asm.

x86 vs. x86_64 detection proof of concept patch (try two)
Greetings all,
Sorry, resending this with the attachment inline.
First of all, a disclaimer: Please forgive my horrible assembly code.
This is just a quick munging of code to achieve x86 versus x86_64
detection within pxelinux. So please look at it as a proof of concept
and not a real piece of code. :) For example it only works on pxelinux
and has no thought for extending it beyond simple x86

[RFC][PATCH] Gfxboot COMBOOT module
So here it is. Ugly and far from acceptable shape but nonetheless it seems to
work. Parts are borrowed from syslinux core and of course the gfxboot patch for
syslinux 3.63.
