tftpd-hpa
Hello, I need help in setting up tftpd-hpa to send a kernel to a client, on a debian woody installation. I did manage the feat when using tftpd to send a kernel to a client which had a separate network interface card, but I would like to do it with integrated LAN. Trials with tftpd failed with error messages starting with 'PXE', and later I learned that tftpd-hpa is needed for the PXE

Access Violation
In transferring a kernel to a client using tftpd-hpa, is there any way to track down the source of the error message, "PXE-T02 Access violation"? All the files in /tftpboot have root ownership and 644 permissions, and this works fine if I use an etherboot-derived floppy to start the boot process. Fail to detect DTMF over direct ISDN pri link
Hello, I'm using Asterisk (latest CVS head) to perform outbound call as robot/testing tool for an IVR platform, with a Wildcard T100P configure as ISDN Pri. For develop the exten context script I was using a real PSTN ISDN Megalink (DMS100) to reach the platform and my script was able to correctly detected the DTMF tone send back by the platform to synchronize the script. But for load test,

tc is broken for "protocol arp" filters
I have tested Devik''s tc (103592 bytes) and 2.6.8 which I compiled. Both return "RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument". Stephen Hemminger should be sent a patch that fixes this. An example that returns the above error message is: tc filter add dev eth1 parent 1: protocol arp prio 5 u32 \ match u16 0x0806 0xffff at -2 flowid 1:50 I''m using this because it works:

Fail to detect DTMF over direct ISDN pri lin k
Thank you Peter for you reply, I realize this problem occur because I take the CVS head (maybe a bugs get introduce), because when I rebuild using the checkout of the latest stable version (cvs checkout -r v1-0), I don't have the problem of detection of DTMF over a direct ISDN pri link. Hopefully this problem with be fixed before the next release of asterisk. Sylvain. -----Original

PRI Setup problem
Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a Sangoma A101D-X card talking to a Sasktel PRI (Megalink) circuit and having some trouble getting it to handshake. Thanks for any help or suggestions to diagnose this problem. The problem is that Asterisk has trouble bringing up the link. I see the following lines every couple of minutes: == Primary D-Channel on span 1 up == Primary D-Channel on

QoS and arp packets.
Hello list, I''m having problems with HTB on a machine. I noticed that after a while the machine seems off-line after i start the htb script. After some debugging i realised the problem stays in the arp packets send by the machine, which are delayed or dropped. Because of that i had to remove the default class. Is there a way to match arp packets ? because i want to add them to the class

no menu.c32, no problem...
Fellow syslinux fans, I'm using syslinux on a boot floppy (I'll call this syslinux A) to invoke an etherboot image (zlilo style) which invokes a tagged NBI image from my DHCP/TFTP server. The tagged NBI image is created using mknbi-dos and also uses syslinux (I'll call this syslinux B), a linux kernel and an initrd file. It works perfectly if syslinux A has a basic .CFG, e.g.:

proxy arp & gratuitous ARP reply
Hello, My apologies if this isn''t the right place to send questions about this thread. I have a couple one''s about proxy_arp and gratuitous arp reply frames. I have setup the proxy_arp parameter on a linux system (kernel 2.4.20). Now, when I start a M$-Windoze machine it complain about "...duplicated IP address...". named arguments discouraged in `[.data.frame` and `[<-.data.frame`
Well, the situation with `[.data.frame` (and [<-) is complicated by the fact that the data.frame-method is not a primitive, but the generic IS. I'm not sure about dispatch for primitive-generics, but I bet it's done on the first argument (as with S3). Which means `[`(j=1:2,d,i=1) has nothing to do with `[.data.frame`, as some internal code equivalent to something like `[.integer` is

proxy arp on CentOS 5?
Anybody implemented a working proxy ARP with CentOS 5? I am trying to implement DNAT on a dual-homed firewall (servers behind firewall are on private IPs) and that requires proxy ARP. I've tried several different methods but nothing seems to work. Any advice? Is proxy ARP broken on v5? -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/

own arp reply?
Hello all. I wonder if there is a way, to do smth like that: fot requests like: arp who-has 192.168.1.13 tell 192.168.4.31 arp who-has 192.168.1.122 tell 192.168.1.31 always answer 192.168.x,x ? i mean I'd have one machine which would have all the MAC's <> IS's like ( arp -s IP M:A:C ) And i'd like to give that 'data' to users, which
