SYSLINUX 1.67 released
This release is identical to 1.67-pre1. Unfortunately the people who reported problems with 1.66 never got back to me to indicate if it solved their problem or not, but since it fixes a real bug, regardless, I decided to release it as 1.67. ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/ -hpa 1.67 is a trivial bug fix release affecting a fairly small number of systems. 1.66 is an

The state of btrfs RAID6 as of kernel 3.13-rc1
Hi What is the general state of btrfs RAID6 as of kernel 3.13-rc1 and the latest btrfs tools? More specifically: - Is it able to correct errors during scrubs? - Is it able to transparently handle disk failures without downtime? - Is it possible to convert btrfs RAID10 to RAID6 without recreating the fs? - Is it possible to add/remove drives to a RAID6 array? Regards, Hans-Kristian -- To

[PATCH v2] drm/bochs: fix framebuffer setup.
The driver doesn't consider framebuffer pitch and offset, leading to a wrong display in case offset != 0 or pitch != width * bpp. Fix it. [PATCH 2/2] drm/bochs: fix framebuffer setup.
If bo->width doesn't match fb->width the driver fails to configure the display correctly, resulting in a scrambled display. Fix it. [PATCH 28/51] drm/bochs: Drop explicit drm_mode_config_cleanup
Instead rely on the automatic clean, for which we just need to check that drm_mode_config_init succeeded. To avoid an inversion in the cleanup we also have to move the dev_private allocation over to drmm_kzalloc. This is made possible by a preceeding patch which added a drmm_ cleanup action to drm_mode_config_init(), hence all we need to do to ensure that drm_mode_config_cleanup() is run on final

[PATCH v2] drm/bochs: add drm_driver.release callback.
Call drm_dev_unregister() first in bochs_pci_remove(). Hook bochs_unload() into the new .release callback, to make sure cleanup is done when all users are gone. Add ready bool to state struct and move bochs_hw_fini() call from bochs_unload() to bochs_pci_remove() to make sure hardware is not touched after bochs_pci_remove returns. [PATCH v3] drm/bochs: add drm_driver.release callback.
Call bochs_unload via drm_driver.release to make sure we release stuff when it is safe to do so. Use drm_dev_{enter,exit,unplug} to avoid touching hardware after device removal. using block devices as harddisks
Hello everybody, I'm currently working to get bochs to support block devices (eg. /dev/hda) as harddisks. I downloaded the current release http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/bochs/bochs-1.4.tar.gz and found that size detection doesn't work. Here's a patch to get the detection working. But I got another problem: the bios won't boot if there are more than 15 heads! Is there
