Reuse Partials
Hi all, This is my first official post as RoR developer, so here it is. I''ve got a partial for a Address (Postcode, Address, City, ...). I want to use this partial multiple times on the same form? So I want to fill in multiple addresses and insert them individualy. How do I go about doing this? Kind Regards, Eugene Louw -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Dos Btrieve Windows 98 and Samba 4.0
?We are trying to migrate a Dos based btrieve application from Windows NT to Samba 4?.1.6-Ubuntu. Running one client works, running more that one client do not work. I searched Google and there are many historic pages about issues related to the btrieve / Samba combination. Are there stable solutions of this issue? Kind Regards Hendre

Metadata
ok - I'm now starting a new bitstream on each song change, but still no-go. Only on the very first reconnect does the title streaming show correct. The metadata information however NEVER displays correctly in the stats.xml - even though the comment headers seem to be fine - so I suspect I need to use another method? btw - Metdata inside OddCast DSP seems to work fine... isolinux boooting update
An update to the problem I reported earlier - A kind list reader, Michael K Ter Louw, suggested I try syslinux v1.67, and viola!, my problem went away completely. So something between 1.67 and 1.71 got broke with respect to isolinux. Hmm... Another kind list reader, Seth Kurtzberg, was kind enough to make and effort to send an updated initrd; although it didn't solve the problem, it was

chan_capi, chan_misdn and chan_modem
Could someone please comment on the current state of chan_capi, chan_misdn and chan_modem channel drivers in terms of functionality and stability. Specifically, which channel driver would be best for a passive PCI HFC or W6692 ISDN card. The chan_misdn wiki claims that chan_capi distinguishes between junghanns and non-junghans cards, and that chan_misdn is better suited for general misdn

Enhanced MDISKCHK.COM and MEMDISK patches
Good day to all, Gert Hulselmans requested a feature for MDISKCHK.COM that would function roughly like GETARGS.COM[1] by Murali Krishnan Ganapathy: DOS SET command output for MEMDISK kernel arguments passed by previous boot-loaders. He also needed to support the case for MEMDISK-in-a-MEMDISK type situations, where all MEMDISK kernel arguments could be gathered together and output as a list

Hangs on memdisk too.
I just tried upgrading from version 1.66 to 1.71 of isolinux. Now when I boot, it gives me the following: Loading vmlinux..... Loading initrd.gz............. Loading Ready and hangs at that point. >> same problem here but with memdisk.

stream delay
I noticed that my ogg stream was 2 hours behind today. Is that a normal thing with all icecast streams? I had other people try it that have never been to that stream and they were 2 hours behind too. What is that caused from? How can that be fixed? Thanks John http://www.kqlz.org

Troubles with CentOS5 and 3ware RAID controller
Folks, Since approx. a half year I have run two servers with CentOS4, all was running very stable. Then I upgraded to CentOS5 (fresh install). The servers are running quite unstable since the upgrade. The system is freezing after short uptime. I suspect the driver for the 3ware controller, because I got such error messages: 3w-xxxx: scsi0: Character ioctl (0x1f) timed out, resetting card.

Metadata
Hi! Been trying to figure out how to stream metadata. I got metadata streaming working for MP3, but just cant seem to make it work for Ogg? This is how I *think* it works - please correct me where I'm wrong: 1. For MP3 the metadata is updated via a HTTP GET (aka Old shoutcast method, just new URL /admin/) 2. For Ogg the metadata is embedded directly into the stream using a comment packet? I

Missing Files/Missing Folders from an NFS Share
I'm trying to get to the bottom of where the normal directory functions differ in results for block storage compared to NFS. I created a short c script to look at the offsets generated for the directory when block storage backed in comparison to NFS backed. block storage backed are always positive: File: 5050, Offset: 9213006461214587617 File: 6567, Offset: 9218690536865144001 File: 4033,

File list Performance question
I have a server running SuSE 9.3 (Samba 3.0.13-1.1). The underlying filesystem is xfs, and the NICs are Netgear gigabit. 2 Gb of ram in a P4/3.0 Ghz. The workstations are windows XP Pro, with all service packs installed, on P4 3+ Ghz, 1-2 Gb of ram. (varies a bit by workstation) I have one particular tree on the server that contains over 12K files in a few hundred subdirs. Breaking it up

Comboot Menu
Since lot of people want this thing, I will try to take a stab at it. For now, I will hard code the menu in the code, and then somebody else can remove that restriction. May be we can add some kind of keyword to the config file which syslinux ignores and the comboot menu does something with it. I have one question about comboot: If I write a DOS program using C (compiled using watcom -3 -mt -osx

include dll in R-package
Hi, We have several projects in the center done by researchers over years in Fortran, there are copy right issues etc to prevent us from giving away the source codes, but a lot of social scientist are interested to use the program. We tried to use dlls to make plugins (available in our website) in various statistics platforms (SAS, STATA and R) to make it available to general public. We used

A problem reading configuration file
Hi! For some time, there is a regression in wine, which disables my Dynatext reader from working. It tries to open it's configuration file but unsuccessfully. The file IS there and former wine versions allowed the program to read it. I was recommended to do a regression tests to find a particular patch but it's too time-expensive for me these days, so I did a full trace and found an
