Wx::FileDialog and common dialogs
The documentation for Wx::FileDialog is incorrectly generated:

Every time the ''*'' (for the wildcard character in file filters) appears,
the doc instead switches between boldface and normal.

Tracing down some things to add in validators and I''ve run across
something that kinda bothers me...
In order to implement validators you have to override the clone method.
The directors seems to be set up to specifically handle this situation.
However, whenever C++ calls back to the object''s methods the swig_get_up

Jquery Modal Dialog with Jquery DatePicker field strange behavior
Hi people.
I need your help here, please.
I have a rails 3.0.9 app, and I''m using Ajax to save some records to

Modal Window Stealing Elements from Form. Need Elegant Solution.
I''m using Prototype.js with Control.modal to create a modal window on
my IPB Forum which takes all the various topic posting/replying/
editing options and places them into a Modal window.
The inherent nature of this action is to take the contents of whatever

AJAX modal dialog using RJS

I spent some time in the past week trying to figure out a way to
create a modal dialog that can submit a form and not perform a full
page refresh. I solved my problem but I''m wondering if others out
there have had need for this and how they solved it? I''m not

Modal forms remains hidden when main form clicked

breaking multi-modal histograms down into combinations of unimodal distributions
Dear All,
Does anybody know if there is a functionality in R to break histograms
that show a clear bi-modal (or multi-modal) distribution into a series
of unimodal histograms that added up result in the original histogram?
I was thinking of using QQ-plots (for which tools are available in R),
and then observing the number of times the observed quantiles cross
the 1:1 line, but this only gives an

EvtHanler.i / Events.i
I decided to take a look at the way we set up event handlers as part of
adding two missing events (EVT_WINDOW_CREATE and EVT_WINDOW_DESTROY) and
I must say I completely don''t understand how the passed block becomes a
function that gets called during the callback.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction here?

re trieve user input from an tcl/tk interface

Trouble with dialog based application
Hi,
A long time ago, I made some MFC GUI programming ...
There was basically 2 kinds of application :
- dialog based application : a simple app based on a dialog (without
menu, toolbar, status bar ...)
- frame based app (Single Document or Multiple Document) with menu,
toolbar, status bar ...
I tried to make a dialog based app with wxRuby but the application
never exits !!

Modal dialogs getting out of focus
Hello,
it is really nice to be here with the wonderful Wine community.
Modal window gets out of focus if minimized and blocks any actions in the main
window.
I've attached and example created in Delphi called Project1. It has Form1
window with action button which opens a modal dialog called Form2.
The main idea is when opened Form2 to be always on top and to be impossible to
hide it behind
