Callus, Mame and other emulators
Hi! I'd like to play with snes, arcade and other retro games, but unfortunatelly there isn't any linux emus for this. I don't know why it is takes so mutch work to wine... Callus emulate only 66 Mhz... The

problem extracting data from a set of list vectors
Dear useRs, A colleague has sent me several batches of output I need to process, and I'm struggling with the format to the point that I don't even know how to extract a test set to upload here. My apologies, but I think that my issue is straightforward enough (for some of you, not for me!) that you can help in the absence of a test set. Here is the scenario: # Data sets are lists: >

OpenSSH Security Advisory: buffer.adv
This is the 1st revision of the Advisory. This document can be found at: http://www.openssh.com/txt/buffer.adv 1. Versions affected: All versions of OpenSSH's sshd prior to 3.7 contain a buffer management error. It is uncertain whether this error is potentially exploitable, however, we prefer to see bugs fixed proactively. 2. Solution: Upgrade to OpenSSH

MuMIn Problem getting adjusted Confidence intervals
Hello R users I'm using MuMIn but for some reason I'm not getting the adjusted confidence interval and uncoditional SE whe I use model.avg(). I took into consideration the steps provided by Grueber et al (2011) Multimodel inference in ecology and evolution: challenges and solutions in JEB. I created a global model to see if malaria prevalence (binomial distribution) is related to any

Read the data from a text file and reshape the data
I have a data set for different time intervals. The data has three comment lines before data for each time interval. For each time interval there are 500 data points. I want to change the dataset such that I have the following format: t1 t2 t3 ................ 0.00208 0.00417 0.00625 ................. a1 a2 a3 ...................

Webrtc and adventures with Asterisk 11
Hi, I spent the past week experimenting with webrtc + asterisk 11.9.0-rc1 + opus/vb8 codec patch. This is interesting technology and I try to find out how to connect all the moving parts. Firefox: Neither sipml5 or jssip works with calls to asterisk, audio/video doesn't matter. WARNING[977][C-00000005] chan_sip.c: Rejecting secure audio stream without encryption details: audio 35684

Variance of random effects: survreg()
I have the following questions about the variance of the random effects in the survreg() function in the survival package: 1) How can I extract the variance of the random effects after fitting a model? For example: set.seed(1007) x <- runif(100) m <- rnorm(10, mean = 1, sd =2) mu <- rep(m, rep(10,10)) test1 <- data.frame(Time = qsurvreg(x, mean = mu, scale= 0.5, distribution =

Rui: "f these two, diff is faster. But of all the solutions posted so far, Ben Bolker's is the fastest." telephony that "just works"
Hello list, I am looking for a way to have multiple remote Windows users download a package and get connected to *. My idea would be that they run a simple app, it connects without any setting to an * box (maybe via IAX) and then people press a button to talk. It would be okay if they had to enter a username and password, but not more than that. Looking for such software, I keep finding

Thanks-solved:RE: problem extracting data from a set of list vectors
Thanks Don and Jim, "Get" did the trick! That command is new to me, and is exactly what this problem needed. The syntax that worked is actually slightly simpler than what was suggested. This is what worked: all.comps <- ls(pattern="^res") for(i in all.comps){ obj = get(i); ... Thanks again. --Kelly V. -----Original Message----- From: MacQueen, Don [mailto:macqueen1 at

Dial an extension with follow me
Hi people, I have an extension which has configured the follow me (it derives to an IVR). If in my dialplan I put Dial(extenX) (where extenX is that extension) and if it is not available, it should execute the IVR, is that right? Well, I think it should be, but it doesn't... Here is my CLI: Starting SIP/CALLUS-00000b3f at join-dial,,1 failed so falling back to exten 's' --
