[LLVMdev] libstdc++v3
Hi all,
I have some doubts on libstdc++v3?
at the g++ side the libstdc++v3 as a runtime lib , a component of
the g++, but at the llvm, there are no libstdc++v3 ? are llvm leave
the libstc++v3 to the front-end(clang or llvm-gcc?).
another problem is if I compile libstdc++v3 as byte-code
(llvm-IR), just say libstdc++v3.bc , and link libstdc++v3.bc with
programs, are this action can

rsh problems in CentOS 5.2 (was "cvs command failure on 5.2")
Okay, I've narrowed the problem down quite a bit. As previously
reported, in CentOS 5.2 I get this:
$ cvs log Makefile
poll: protocol failure in circuit setup
cvs [log aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
Turns out this is a problem with rsh:
$ rsh khan ls

The clang for centos6 are need GLIBC_2.14, but we only have GLIB 2.12 by default.
Well, is that possible to include libstdc++4.7 into llvm?

The clang for centos6 are need GLIBC_2.14, but we only have GLIB 2.12 by default.
It is possible to statically link against libstdc++, yes. I don't quite
know all the pieces to the recipe in order to get that to work. It would
require changes to the release script in order to get those configuration
changes all the way through the third phase build.
I don't believe any other tarball release does this, so it would at least
be an unconventional release.

Sorry if I was unclear, I have no problems building clang against a newer
gcc for my own purpose. But it doesn't make sense to provide a release
binary for clang that's hosted on llvm.org that's ostensibly for "centos6"
when it would really be bound to "centos6 plus the SCLO mirror which has
the dependency for a newer libstdc++".
The glibc 2.14 dependency is a

Trying to install R on Lucid Lynx
Hi:
I installed Lucid Lynx amd64 on my system today, dual booted with Win 7.
I've managed to install several packages through the Ubuntu Software
Center with success and also installed texlive. Alas, installing my favorite
software has not been so joyful. I went through the last few months
of posts in this group to find something similar, but to no avail.
After a couple of false starts, I

[LLVMdev] Compiling llvm and Clang on Linux
Ok, I got. You should install libstdc++44-devel, too.
Please try to install gcc44-c++ and libstdc++44-devel.
Note: gcc44-c++ depends on gcc44, but gcc44-c++ and libstdc++44-devel
are independent each other, at least on my host, CentOS5.

Hi there
Firstly, you may want to check out this thread on Experts Exchange:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/Linux/Q_20815085.html
essentially this is my problem - I can connect to and browse a windows
file share with smbclient, but when i try to mount it with mount.cifs I
get errors. Note that this only happens when I have to authenticate to a
domain controller - I can use

Delph7 ENT DeveloperExpress Components on wine
Hi all,
i've installed Delphi7ENT and DevExpr_v45 components on wine.
When i launch delphi i get this error:
Can't load package C:\Programmi\DevExpress\Library\Delphi7
\dclcxPivotGridD7.bpl.
I get this for each .bpl in C:\Programmi\DevExpress\Library\Delphi7\
It seems like delphi can't find them, but every file is present,
readable and executable.
Any ideas?

help with Win2k and Samba
Hello, I?ve been trying to solve a problem which i?m pretty sure it?s a "newbie problem"... I?ve installed Samba 2.0.7 on a Red Hat 7.1 machine, configured a small smb.conf file, updated the Windows registry with the "plain text passwords", and reviewed the DIAGNOSTICS.TXT about 10 times, every time, steps 1 - 7 work fine but step 8 (net view \\SambaServerName) fail.

libstdc++ not found by clang and base ld on 9-STABLE when building cmake c++ project
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is right list, but has anything recently changed which
could
explain why cmake c++ project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/gemrb/)
started to fail upon linking stage (looking like libstdc++ is not included
/usr/include/c++/4.2/)?
It works normally if passed gcc48 as compiler which subsequently uses (ld)
binutils
from ports and relevant libstdc++.
