omega: $field{sample} clarification
I'm using omega for a sitesearch and currently having a problem trying to filter $field(sample). At the moment it returns text from the page header and navigation within the sample, ideally I'd like it to return only the page content. I've been trying various omegascript commands to trim the output or seperate the fields and also looking at scriptindex to control how the xhtml is

Omega: behavior msize when collapsing results
Hello list, I have a problem with the value of the result size ($msize in omegascript) when collapsing results. The index contains 151452 documents. I'm using Omega 1.0.18 on FreeBSD (I tried both the version in ports and the latest one from xapian.org). This is my indexscript: uniqueid: boolean=Q unique=Q field=uniqueid objectid: field=objectid boolean=XID value=0 objecttype: field=type

Deleting an exported resource
I had a host that was exporting a resource to another host to trigger backups. The first host has now gone away, but the second host is still seeing the exported resource (because it still exists in the puppetmaster''s database). I fixed the problem by going in to the database and deleting all the rows I could find that related to the absent host, but I''m wondering if

Omega
Are there any options to forming queries with Omega? For instance can you specify a proximity search like "file near 5 manager"? If so, where might I find this documented? I don't see it in the docs directory. Thanks Jim.

Make SSH_ORIGINAL_COMMAND available in AuthorizedKeysCommand context
Hi Using SSH_ORIGINAL_COMMAND in AuthorizedKeys is so helpful, I'd like to know if it might be possible to access it in the AuthorizedKeysCommand context (via env ?). Is this possible ? can anybody give me advice on going into this ? If possible, I'll use this SSH_ORIGINAL_COMMAND to send client specifics information to the AuthorizedKeysCommand script. Currently, the only alternative

document_id globally incrementing
Hi All I have made my xapian indexer automatically create new indexes once it reaches X documents in each, and for each document that I add to each sub-index, I record its document_id and its index_id (relating to what index the document ended up in). writabledatabase_add_document() returns document_id:s beginning from 0 for each new index when you add new documents, like you would expect. So

For more UI functionality: OmegaScript, C++ or other?
Hello :-) We have Xapian and Omega working nicely. Now we would like more functionality at the browser UI, such as being able to specify date ranges and being able to search the file name including looking only for, say, .odt files. Question is whether the best choice for this would be to develop a template using OmegaScript or to switch to C++ or some other language. Availability of skills

Facts not being updated when using storeconfigs
Hi, I think I''m having a similar problem to the user who raised this bug: http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/ticket/733 I''m running 0.23.2 with storeconfigs. I''ve got it working to the point where my clients'' facts are being populated in the database[*] but updates don''t seem to happen unless I restart puppetmasterd. For example: 1) I run my test

How should I select rows from a join-model based on more than one association?
A concrete example: We''re building a system to organize the information about workshops being held in various conventions. A convention has more than one workshop, and each workshop can be held in more than one convention. Also each workshop has a host, who is specific to a workshop being held in a specific convention. For example, Matz may host an "Introduction to Ruby"

rsync server bootscript - stop and status considerations
Hello :-) I want to create a boot/shutdown script including the usual restart, start, status and stop options (on Slackware64 13.1). Netsearching for prior art, I did not find any comprehensive examples. The normal technique seems to be to kill the process recorded in the PID file (let's call it the daemon) but this does not terminate all the rsync server processes. Experimenting and
