Seems I'm missing some kind of library?
When I run "rake db:create --trace" in my rails directory, or if I attempt a "bundle install" I get the same error around missing "rubygems/format". I am new, but I am really hoping there is some way that I can discover which package this "rubygems/format" belongs in. I did a locate on "format" | grep gem and I didn''t find any

USB drivers not found when compiling
Came across this in the process of troubleshooting: https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2011-November/007249.html My whole reason for compiling from source is to add SSL support (as it doesn't seem available through the package manager). Apt list shows these installed: libusb-1.0-0-dev/stable,now 2:1.0.22-2 armhf [installed] libusb-1.0-0/stable,now 2:1.0.22-2 armhf

Where has system-config-sound gone?
Hi All, Just installed 6.4 on a system that might become a Myth Backend. Where's the normal sound icon gone that usually appears in Gnome? I can see the intel sound card driver is loaded. Which bits of alsa should be there? This is what I've got:- rpm -qa | grep alsa alsamixergui-0.9.0-0.9.rc2.el6.x86_64 alsa-utils-1.0.22-5.el6.x86_64 alsa-lib-1.0.22-3.el6.x86_64 Under System |

Windows Binaries
Hi All, I've tried to grab the Windows binaries from here: http://www.flax.co.uk/xapian_binaries but seem to be running into a problem with the Xapian-Tools packages. I've downloaded version 1.0.22, 1.2.3, and 1.0.21 and all three are giving me errors when I try to decompress the archive. I've tried downloading using Safari, Chrome, and IE; all with the same results. I also grabbed

10th anniversary of tinc 1.0
Hello everyone, Today is exactly 10 years ago that tinc 1.0 was released. I would have hoped to celebrate this by releasing 1.0.22 and 1.1pre8 today, but this will instead happen in one week. Tinc 1.1 is close to becoming stable, and I hope to release 1.1.0 before the end of the year. The main features of tinc 1.1 are the improved security over tinc 1.0, and a much nicer interface that makes it

Audio weirdness on CentOS 6.2 with flash?
Hi List, I have an ASUS G73S laptop with our favorite OS installed and all up-to-date. Sound has always "just worked" When I use the Preferences>Sound app I can setup the hardware, input, output and was overall very impressed. One can check each speaker and the laptop has a front left and right and also has a bass speaker which seems to be connected to the left rear. The various
