Apache conf.d file for omega?
Hello :-) Sorry if this question is na?ve and confused; I'm new to Apache configuration. Can Apache be configured to run omega via a file in the conf.d directory rather than a virtual server? I have been using a virtual server on port 80 but now need to run nagios on port 80 too and do not want to ask the users to start using a URL with a non-standard port for omega. KISS. AFAIK omega

GSoC 2017: Letor Click Data Mining
Hi Olly. Thanks for your reply to the previous email. To have an appropriate subject I've started this new thread for further discussions. > There's a $log{} command available in Omega templates. Perl Search::Xapian
Hi, Trying to learn Search::Xapian and be better at perl at the same time, I'm stuck, at the DB_CREATE_OR_OPEN error. Perl says this: ~/dev/sandbox/Xapian-perl$ ./Index1-Xap.pl 100-objects-v1.csv db "db" is not exported by the Search::Xapian module Can't continue after import errors at ./Index1-Xap.pl line 7. patch proposal: omindex library or daemon
Olly (looking at commit logs, I think this is your dept :-) For apps which re/index files frequently and need format conversion, I'd like to propose a patch for one of... Omindex library (thread safe): Omindex::init(options) // struct Omindex::options { ... } initialize mime_map, store default options session = new Omindex::Session(db_pathname) user threads use different sessions

Wiki: Omega walkthrough
Finally had a chance to read this - looks great, thanks Jim! I think we can improve it ever so slightly by being a little more explicit at the end: > {{{ > /usr/local/bin/omindex --db /var/lib/omega/data/default > --url /book /var/www/book > }}} [...] > The --url parameter identifies the url prefix that corresponds to > the directory we start indexing from. Ticket #282: omindex-assorted-enhancements.patch woes
I would really like to try out the features in the patch above. But I can't ever seem to get the resulting omindex.cc to "make". I tried updating to rev 10801 from the SVN then run /bootstrap but then I seem to get errors compiling everything when I try and do "make" (I'm using ubuntu 8.10). So I thought I'd try an apply the patch to the latest stable version

Dates as POSIXt
When I try to do linear interpolation between financial contracts with maturities on different dates in different months I have come across some behavior I haven't seen before. I have a data frame in R which is loaded from an access database so I can't provide a working example. It was loaded using this code: > dbPath <- "H:/pathToDB/DB.mdb" > channel <-

omindex options
Hi. I am writing a python equivalent of omindex (we are using scriptindex currently - but I wanted to use omindex instead, and extend it to work with our internal file format.. BUT did not want to compile code if possible... so anyway). I have tried to keep the code as close to possible to the omindex native code, but am facing a bit of confusion: what exactly is the reason for omindex to take

R bindings for Xapian: API modifications
Hi, I'm currently reviewing my originally proposed API design and I added two new fields(idField, stemmer) to the xapian_index() function. As my next task I'm planning to determine the output data structure and format of xapian_search() function. Afterwards I will focus back on xapian_index() function and review the format of valueSlots parameter. An outline of 'simple indexing'

weird RPM dependency error; '/bin/sh' needed, but is provided
First off, I have to admit that I'm uncertain if this is the appropriate forum; I'd be happy for suggestions about where else to look. I'm doing this work on a stock install of CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-1810.iso, with no updates. I'm trying to create an RPM database from a custom set of RPMs. One RPM ('openldap-ltb' from the LDAP Tool Box project (ltb-project.org) has a

wildcard support (left truncation)
Dose Xapian support wildcards (left truncation)? E.g. *ildcard.doc or *.doc or Wild*.doc I read a post from Olly in 2005 that said it wasn't supported yet, I was wonder if there had been any progress or easy work around since. I mainly need when users want to search by the filename extension. Thanks, Frank

I see the help ,means ,if there has searcher open the Database, then xapian-replicate will wait the searcher done. but the xapian-replicate how to know there has a searcher is using the Database. How do I open the database when I search? now I open the database like this: Xapian::Database db(dbpath); is that correct ? -------------- next

How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
I don't use the Anti-Spam plugin; I just fire off a BASH script every four hours with crontab which iterates thru the vmail email accounts and trains Spamassassin 'per-user' accounts. If the script sounds interesting I can post it here. It probably could use a little polish though. Bill On 11/9/2016 6:49 PM, Ben Johnson wrote: > On 11/5/2016 1:22 PM, Larry Rosenman wrote:

GSoC 2017: Letor Click Data Mining
Hi James, > Isn't this from the query template, ie from the main web page of search > results? (It might make sense from opensearch as well, though.) Yes, you are right; it is the query template. The reason I said opensearch template is that I haven't quite read all sections of the Omega docs and I'm still in the process. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm aiming to cover

Package RODBC sqlQueries
All - I'm new to SQL and the RODBC package. I've read the documentation associated with the RODBC package, but I'm still having problems with my SQL statements; I think my syntax, particularly with respect to my WHERE statement, is off but I can't find any documentation as to why. When I run a query from within the Access2007 database, it looks like this: SELECT
