Trying to patch xapian perl add/remove_spelling
Greets,
I'm giving a stab at patching the CPAN module to add the missing
WritableDatabase::add_spelling and remove_spelling, but need a bit of
guidance since I'm coming in cold, and pressed for time (aren't we all).
I've modified XS/WritableDatabase.xs and added the two necessary
functions, and also added the two basic tests in t/index.t.
Compilation completes cleanly, but

Patch submission
Greets,
Please find attached a patch (against current svn) for consideration. It
covers a few missing elements on the Perl side of things:
add_spelling() and test/s.
remove_spelling() and test/s.
get_corrected_query_string() and test/s.
get_spelling_suggestion() and test/s.
man pages for the above and for WritableDatabase::close() are also patched.
Please let me know of any errors (especially

This release fixes the pkgconfig data to not refer to libXv, adds a
pkgconfig file for libXvMCW, and prepares for a future xorgproto
release. There should be no functional changes.

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.12
What Fedora release is this going to make it in to? Is it going to be in
FC23? If so, I'll give it a test. I would like to be able to upgrade
again :)

1.0.12-2 for IA64 Redhat AS2.1 e.43
We are pleased to announce the release of OCFS 1.0.12-2 for IA64 Redhat
AS2.1 e.43 kernel.
Due to Kernel ABI incompatibility between < e.43 and e.43, 1.0.12-1 does
not load on e.43. It errors out with a list of missing symbols.
The rpms can be downloaded from
http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs/files/RedHat/RHAS2.1/ia64/

cid_num with Asterisk CVS 1.0.12
Hello,
How can I access caller's number with Asterisk CVS 1.0.12?
In new version there are structure cid with field cid_num. And in 1.0.12
only callerid field which is equal to cid_name.
I also tried to get it from chan->cdr->src but this is also the same as
cid_name or callerid.

Errors compiling tinc 1.0.12 on QNAP NAS (x86)
Hello,
first of all - thanks for creating tinc! It has become an invaluable
tool for me to securely join a multitude of servers and clients through
a VPN.
Today, I was trying to compile Tinc 1.0.12 on my newly purchased x86
Linux-based QNAP TS-239 Pro NAS device (Kernel 2.6.30.6).
The configure-script finishes without error (see attached config.log).
However, configure.status fails with

How to enable stemming with default_op set to OP_NEAR
Hi All,
I know that from version 1.2.6, if default_op is OP_NEAR or OP_PHRASE then stemming of the terms is disabled, since positional information isn't indexed for stemmed terms by default. However, I would like to try using OP_NEAR as default_op with stemming because I think the near operator is somehow different from exact phrase. Then I wanna see how the search results looks with this

Problems with tinc 1.0.12
hallo,
today I have updated the first node of our tinc clout (33 tinc nodes
currently) to 1.0.12 - all the others still use 1.0.10 or 1.0.11.
It seems the whole tinc link to already activated connections pauses
when there is a name resolution or authentication timeout.

RHE L3 -- OCFS 1.0.9-12 and 1.0.12
Running database in ASYNC mode in RHEL 3 has a potential risk of redo logs failure due to some short io's.
A note from

says that the above mentioned problem is fixed in OCFS 1.0.9-12

Bug and patch for +terms with wildcards
In current Xapian SVN HEAD, there is a bug in the query parser concerned
with the handling of wildcard terms with a "+" prefix. Specifically,
a query such as "+foo* bar" will be parsed by the query parser into
Xapian::Query("bar") if there are no terms in the database which start
"foo". Instead, since the "+" term cannot be matched, I believe
