Disable PAM username change?
Hi! I have a problem involving Samba4, exim4, fetchmail, Dovecot and PAM...
I am using Dovecot 2.1.7 on Debian Wheezy.
I have setup a "maildrop" machine, which fetches mail from an external POP3
server for multiple accounts using fetchmail, delivers to local users
mailboxes through exim4 and then serves them on the intranet via IMAP with
Dovecot.
This works great with local unix users,

Make Winbind/PAM not return domain part for usernames
Hi! I have a problem involving Samba4, exim4, fetchmail, dovecot and PAM...

Someone getting RDig work for Linux?
I got this

using Ferret 0.10.14
added url file:///home/myaccount/documents/
waiting for threads to finish...

Thanks for clarifying that Philipp.
Yeah, I compared the time stamps in the error.log and access.log (below)
and saw the corresponding HEAD requests. I've been getting a lot of
these so I thought that there was something I could do to allow these
clients to connect to the stream. I guess I just need to ignore them.

RDig document processing error
Hi all,
Am having problems using RDig:
With this rdig config...

Issue with EROR stream/ices_instance_stream libshout error: Out of memory
Hi... first post to this list so be gentle with me!
I've got Icecast 2.2.0 running well, and using Ices 2.0.1 to feed the OGGs. All was working, then all of a sudden I've started getting these messages in the (ices) log...

EROR connection/_handle_connection Wrong request type from client
Hi,
AFAIK, icecast only supports specific HTTP request methods (GET for
listeners, PUT/SOURCE for sources).
This message is logged when a client uses an unsupported request method
(such as HEAD or POST).
Please note that this might be inaccurate, but I saw this kind of logs
during a development that involved unsupported request methods.

Convert Eror
I upgraded from Redhat 8 using LDAP 2.0.22 and Samba 2.28a to Fedora Core 1
.Reimported my LDAP Schema into the new version of Ldap but when attempting

Eror when running rsync
Hi rsync@lists.samba.org,
when trying to use rsync there's an error message:
10.80.12.6: Connection refused
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(151)
there are 2 servers, both have RedHat 7.3 installed
rsync version 2.5.4 is used, protocol version 26
rsync is run on one of them as a demon
