pgadmin3
Anyone been able to get pgadmin3 installed on CentOS-4 ?
The WxGTK2 stuff makes it impossible for me to get installed from
RPM/SRPM from their site and likewise, couldn't rebuild from Fedora
SRPMS either.
I figure between Jim and Owen and ???, somebody might have succeeded
where I would be doomed. I can get around with phppgadmin but pgadmin3
is pretty cool.
Thanks

[LLVMdev] Error in cross-compiling "Hello World"
Hi,
I use the crosstool build script to build a crosscompiler for ARM. I get the following error when compilng "helloworld" program:
llvm-gcc hello.c -o hello
as: unrecognized option `-meabi=4'
I know that the reason is not to get proper cross assembler. It tries to use the native assembler but I am unable to fix the problem. I use
llvm-gcc -### hello.c -o hello and see

How can Windows 2000 mount a share as a service?
I've asked every M$ expert I know, trolled through M$ TechNet, experimented
with SRVANY/INSTSRV login scripts which hard-code username/passwords to
login to a Samba 2.2.8a SMB server. I've experiment with and without the
"Allow service to interact with Desktop" switch turned on.
I am stuck. :( I can find no way to mount a share as a service, so that
IIS can serve web-pages

How to downgrade gtk2 libs in CentOS 6.8?
Hi all. I'm using a CentOS 6.8 VM to do volunteer builds for an open
source project. I want to build Pale Moon with a gtk2 library older
than 2.24, to allow people with older linuxes to run it. Short summary,
if built against version gtk2-2.24 and/or higher, the binary will use a
function that does not exist in gtk2-2.23 and lower. Net result is that
the program dies with an

x86_64 kernel compilation
If I can squeeze a message between the discussions on security (:-)) I
have been trying to compile a kernel on an x86_64 box under CentOS4.1 and
now 4.2.
The problem is that neither make xconfig or make gconfig work:
make gconfig

Does elrepo fix google-chrome requirement for newer glib and GTK
Has anyone tested installing the newer kernels from elrepo (or
somewhere else) in order to keep google-chrome updated beyond version
27? Actually, i assumed a newer kernel would come with a newer glibc
but i do not see a newer glibc via elrepo, just newer kernels. hmmm.
# yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=elrepo* info glibc | grep -i repo
only lists my already installed glibc packages from
