[LLVMdev] DFAPacketizer
Jonas,
At this point, the DFA packetizer models a simple VLIW architecture and
does not accommodate multiple stages. That's the reason for the behavior
you're seeing.

[LLVMdev] DFAPacketizer
Hi,
I looked a bit through the mail archives, and found this question answered in Oct 2011 (see below). It is interesting to find this in the ARM backend, considering your answer. Can you give more information about for example is this a temporary deficiency in the DFAPacketizer? What is the IIC_iMOVi itinerary doing below?
Thanks,
Jonas

Hi Jonas,

The ARM backend doesn't use the DFA packetizer. It's only used by
Hexagon. At this point, there is no plan to address thisin the DFA
packetizer since none of the supported targets needthe functionality.
Thanks

Hi Anshu,
Would there be any interest in extending this algorithm to handling more extensive models, such as VLIW scheduling based on FU's and bundle space... ie handle multiple stages ?
I might do it and commit, if there is acceptance and guidance...
Jonas

Need some clarifications about "speex_preprocess_run"
Simple questions:1. when this method is called for each frame, do I have to call them twice for both the encode process and the decode process?2. does preprocessor do preprocessing on raw PCM data or on encoded speex data? I need to clarify this because i want to know when should I call this function, before the encoding process (i.e. preprocess the pcm data) or after the encoding process (i.e.

Hi,
I am having problems writing the ProcessorItineraries list. As instructions on my VLIW target have varying size I want to model both cpu units and bundle bits as FUs. The following does not work, to my surprise:
InstrItinData<ALU, [InstrStage<1, [BITS1,BITS2, BITS3, BITS4], 0>,
InstrStage<1, [ALU1, ALU2]>]>
I want to express that there are

Thanks, the Centos 6 repos don't have that rpm and the
http://xapian.org/download page seems to only cover the XS bindings, if
I am reading this correctly:
But I was able to remove the rpm packages and compile and install the
core and swig from source.

omega: $field{sample} clarification
I'm using omega for a sitesearch and currently having a problem trying
to filter $field(sample). At the moment it returns text from the page
header and navigation within the sample, ideally I'd like it to return
only the page content. I've been trying various omegascript commands to
trim the output or seperate the fields and also looking at scriptindex

At least it isn't working the way it used to.
Code:

my $dbSize=$db->get_doccount();

error building xapian
I'm getting the following error when trying to build xapian. I've
tried versions 0.9.1 and 0.9.2, same error. It's a x86 debian box,
gcc 4.0.1. It builds fine on my gentoo amd64 box (gcc 3.4.3).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Alex

Can't create audio conversation between softphones through Asterisk
Hello,
I have two user machines, each with a jain-sip-applet-phone installed on it. I use the following process to try to make a call:
1. Register each phone with the Asterisk server (working).
2. Add a contact in each phone which is the other user. (Get a "489 Bad Event" SIP error shown below in red)

[LLVMdev] Bignum development
Hi all,
After searching for a decent compiler backend for ages (google
sometimes isn't helpful), I recently stumbled upon LLVM. Woot!!
I work on bignum arithmetic (I'm a professional mathematician) and
have recently decided to switch from developing GPL'd bignum code to
BSD licensed code. (See http://www.mpir.org/ which I contributed to
for a while - a fork of GMP).
Please bear with
