[LLVMdev] Any way how to instantiate templates even when it is not necessary for the compilation?
Hello,
I am working on a tool which takes c++ header files and based on interfaces defined in them generates csharp classes and glue layer for interop. For analyzing the c++ code I am currently using clang, which parses the headers and writes output into xml via -ast-print-xml (yes, this unfortunately means that it is a very old version of clang). I then use these xml files to generate the csharp

Error in csharp bindings
I've just noticed that the csharp bindings fail to pass make check on my

Yes. Google for "dllimport csharp".

Deprecation
Yesterday I updated the deprecation.rst document such that I think it
contains all the items which are slated for deprecation (and also
contains full details of the upgrade suggestions, as Olly suggested).
I've marked several things which have been deprecated for a long period
of time (ie, since 0.9.0 or earlier) for removal in 1.0.0, in line with
the policy outlined in the document. If

Hi all,
I am trying to rebuild RHELIPA packages downloaded from ftp.redhat.com. All
goes ok except from python-psycopg2 package. When I try to rebuild, gives me

FLAG_BOOLEAN_ANY_CASE does not work
I have found that lower cased boolean operators such as "and" or "or"
does not work. Of course I never forget setting FLAG_BOOLEAN_ANY_CASE flag.
QP seems to treat them as terms.
Just look at the following tests regardless of search results!
$ python search.py -v woman AND man
Performing query 'Xapian::Query((woman:(pos=1) AND man:(pos=2)))'

FLAC: library for C#
I tried that approach a while ago and failed miserably. Marshalling the
structs of structs in the flac lib turned out to be a nightmare (I don't
pretend to be an expert, mind you...).
I eventually switched to writing my own C# lib from scratch. Work is still
under progress. It's no rocket science, I do this a G-job. It has definite
limitations (no documentation, decodes only 16-bit files,

GSoC 2011 - Improve Existing Bindings
Dear Olly,
I am very excited to contribute in open source community through the
platform of Google Summer of Code 2011. I have visited the ideas of ?Xapian?
at http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/GSoCProjectIdeas for GSoC 2011. I am
interested in working on ?Improve Existing Bindings?. The reason for my
interest is that I have previously worked on .NET related projects both in
VB and C#. I also have

How to rebuild python-bindings using SWIG
Dear xapian developers,
I've added a function named "set_sort_by_relevance_then_value()".
Now I want to rebuild python-bindings to include the new function
and test if it works or not.
I guess there is a way to rebuild all of the binding modules include
the new function.
I am not used to SWIG. I want to which files I need to change and
how to build it.
Thanks!

Can I install CentOS 4.2 on Sun X4100?
Hi, all!
I want to change current RHEL 4.0 ES into CentOS 4.2 on Sun X4100 server.
The server has SAS SCSI based two 2.5" hard disks.
I could only install RHEL 4.0 Update 1 because the server is equipped with
RHEL 4.0 Update 1's device driver only.
I've included below the boot process messages concerned with SCSI controller.
If it's possible for me to install CentOS 4.0 on my

question on unused directories in /usr/lib and /usr/lib64
I was working on archiving an old virtual server today and was reminded of how much space is wasted by some of the default installations on CentOS. I think this was a 5.x box.
Anyway, in /usr/lib/64 (and probably /usr/lib on non-64 systems), there were a lot of directories which have no bearing on a basic server. I saw firefox, openoffice and many, many other directories -- replete with enough

SSO with IIS?
I have a customer that I''m developing a solution for on RoR. They have IIS
today and use Sharepoint for their intranet. Is it possible to have some
kind of single sign-on between these systems? So when a user is logged in to
ther Sharepoint she will also be logged in to my rails-app? We haven''t
decided yet on what to deploy rails on so I''m open to suggestions... If we

[PATCH] php: add a simple bindtests test
Generate a simple bindtests test for the PHP binding, so it is possible
to easily test all the argument types.
Unlike the bindtests for other languages, optional arguments are not
tested, due to the limitations of optional arguments in PHP (or maybe
they way we implement them).

Theora encoder directshow Filter configuration
Hi,
I'am using the Xiph Theora Encoder directshow Filter in a csharp
application. It works fine but I would like to modify the configuration,
like the quality settings. I would like to know if there is a possibility to
configure it programmatically without using the propertyPage dialog.
Thanks a lot for your help

Using samba-python to query AD? Status of API?
Hello:
I'd really like to leverage the samba-python API to perform 'net ads
search' style queries for an upcoming project.
Is there any documentation or examples someone can point me to? The
'python/examples' directory is a misnomer (!) and the online API
documentation was generated from 2011 and is also just as cryptic.
I even checked the binaries in samba-client to see if
