Broken rsync mirroring for PuppetLabs APT repo
Hi, I have sent this mail to info@puppetlabs.com and received no answer, so I''m posting here as well; I hope somebody at PuppetLabs will be able to help. I have a local mirror of apt.puppetlabs.com which has been broken for at least a few days: the apt/dists/ subdirectory only contains symlinks to non-existent files. [mirror@excellent dists]$ ls -l total 0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 mirror mirror 29

Moving to R 3.0.0 on Ubuntu
This is a post I just added to my Ubuntu R Blog (http://www.personal.psu.edu/mar36/blogs/the_ubuntu_r_blog/2013/03/moving-to-r-300-on-ubuntu.html). As you may (or may not) be aware of, R 3.0.0 is [scheduled to be released](http://www.r-project.org/) on April 3rd. Since this is a major release and there may be some growing pains (but I hope not) in the move 3.0.0, here is some information

Solr 6.4.1 config
Since I was recently asked off-list - thought I'd make this available if it will help anyone else. Attached is my (I hope) working 6.4.1 config. Also some instructions: First, you have to decide if you're running in standalone or cloud mode. Standalone is simpler, but I seem to be having better luck running in cloud mode - even though I'm only using a single

Yeah, thanks. It seems that there indeed is content-type header (there should not be). We'll look into it. Bug#661912: logcheck: files with period in ignore rule dirs ignored
Package: logcheck Version: 1.3.14 Severity: normal I added a local.rules file to ignore.d.server and then ran logcheck. The file was not used during the run. Renaming it to local-rules got the file used during the next run. Fix: periods should be allowed in filenames, or the fact that they are forbidden expressly documented inteh logcheck README. Thanks Nils -- System Information: Debian

I've been running Solr for a while (4.10.3) - wanted to make the jump to the latest & greatest. I installed 6.4.1, copied over my schema.xml - and after a couple false starts where I needed to tweak it work with the new version...it works! I did not copy the database, started from scratch, and executed a "doveadm fts rescan -A". But... Judging solely from at least one

fts_solr and # char
Hi, Dovecot wiki says the solr url is something like 'solr/dovecot/' but this gives a 404, if I install solr as per the docs I have a 'solr/#/dovecot/' url: https://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/FTS/Solr I have installed dovecot 2.3 from https://repo.dovecot.org/ and solr 8.3 as per the wiki on a Ubuntu 18.04. The problem and the guess work I did: fts_solr =

R hangs on the stats.so library
Dear all, I having this problem on my laptop. It was caused by my clumsy attempts to upgrade the system. As I wrote here, (http://www.mail-archive.com/r-sig-debian at r-project.org/msg01364.html) I was trying to solve the same problem with JAGS/rjags on my laptop. After typing R in a terminal I'm currently get the following: > R version 2.9.0 (2009-04-17) > Copyright (C) 2009 The R

extra fields question
Hi, I'm trying to configure the use of plugins per user in dovecot, more specifically, fts and fts_solr. It happen to have other necessary plugins per protocol, for example "imap_quota" which would be specifically for the imap protocol and which does not apply for the lmtp protocol. For this I need to specify that for the imap protocol I have: protocol imap { mail_plugins =
