dovecot can't see mail that is there

I have Fedora 14 with sendmail. Some application on the same machine send mail to an account on the same machine (hence all is confined to one machine) and I want to retrieve it from a laptop

Problem with requiring client certificates for external connections
Folks, I'm trying to configure my dovecot installation to require client certificates for external/Internet connections, while still allowing my local network to not need certificates. This configuration is for Dovecot 2 (2.0.8 in Fedora 14), and I've tried to use the "remote" block to give different definitions for my local network vs the defaults. While most options seem to

dsync for subscription on public/shared folder
Hello, I already wrote regarding that, but maybe it sounded too complex. I will write it a bit softer now. The replication through dsnyc works perfectly with one exception. I am having an issue with the replication of the subscriptions file on shared folder. We have a public mailbox defined: namespace public-test { location = maildir:/opt/mail/_public/test prefix = public/test/

Dovecot replies with default SSL certificate instead of the vhost's
Hello, I'm using dovecot v2.0.21. According to http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration,dovecot 2.x supports different SSL certificate for different virtual hosts by using "local_name" directive, but I can't get it to work. When testing the certificate using "openssl s_client -connect domain.com:pop3s" I get the default certificate instead of

shared folder files not displaying in thunderbird
Hello, I have dovecot installed with the configuration below. One of the subfolders created (using the email client) under the '/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/shared/projects' share no longer (it used to) displays the files located in it. There are about 150 folders under the '/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/shared/projects' share all of which display the files located in

IMAP Folder Mail Separator
Hi, I have a fedora21 install with dovecot-2.2.18, and when creating a new subfolder with thunderbird, the actual folder name is "Folder1^Folder2" with a carat as a separator, instead of creating Folder2 in the Folder1 directory. Is this a thunderbird problem? I don't recall having this problem prior to upgrading to fedora21, so thought maybe it's a dovecot problem. Maybe the

acl and lazy_expunge plugins are incompatible?
Hello list. Following two previous unanswered requests (http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-August/097449.html and http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2014-May/096261.html), I fell into the same problem: ACL and lazy_expunge plugins do not work together. I had lazy_expunge enabled working OK. Then I activated ACL plugin, and gave dovecot.2 visibily over paolo.cravero's Inbox: the IMAP

Bug Report: %% variables not expanded properly with shared namespace using . as separator
I think this is a bug. I'd expect that location %% variables are translated the same way % variables are interpreted, but apparently this isn't the case. virtual folders work fine, but my shared folders fail because of the . in the domain name. What I get is the following: # doveadm acl debug -u user1 at domain1.com.au shared.user2 at domain2.com.au doveadm(user1 at domain1.com.au):
