I've looked at samba archives (mailing lists), I've looked at altavista, and deja.com. No help. I want to do a backup of NT machine using smbclient. I call it like: # smbclient //MACHINE/Share Pass -U Administrator -E -c tarmode full -D usr -d0 -Tc test.tar It starts fine, but after some time thing like this happen: ... .eml files rejected by samba
Hi List. I have some weirdness here which I have no idea how to resolve. I have been runing samba for the las two years on a suse 8.2 box with no problem at all. Last week I had a file system failure and was forced to rebuild. Rebuilt using SuSE 9.1 and SAMBA 2.28 When I started restoring data, I noticed that all files with .eml extensions could not be written to disk.!?!? As an experriment, i

Problem with instance variables
Im developing a User model for my application (newbie stuff, but I have to start somewhere). I followed the tutorial at http://sonjayatandon.com/05-2006/how-to-build-a-secured-web-application-with-ruby-on-rails/ and decided to add an email field. The problem is that the email is not being saved on the database and I end up with two email variables: @email and email. validates_presence_of

From list to variable name
Hello I am trying to run equations with different combinations of explanatory variables. I have managed to figure?out how to generate?the different combinations, and am trying to set up equations where I use these combinations. And this is where I?am getting stuck. I have searched several R websites but with no success. This is how I generate the different combinations of my explanatory variables

Second rule isn't apply when first rule matches
Dear list, I want to define two concurrent rules : 1. I want to flag an e-mail containing the word "cloud" in the body 2. I want to move mail sent explicitly to me (as opposed to mail sent to an alias I am part of) going to "INOBX.I must answere this" If I put rule (1) first, everything works as expected. If put rule (2) first, only that rule applies. Here's a small test

strptime with +03:00 zone designator
I have some data that includes timestamps like this: 2017-02-28T13:35:00+03:00 The documentation for strptime says that %z expects an offset like 0300. I don't see any way in the documentation to get it to accept +hh:mm with a colon separator, and everything I tried gave me NA as the answer. Section 4.2.5.1 of ISO 8601:2004(E) allows both the absence of colons in +hh[mm] (basic format) and

footnote:id, colons and jquery
I just received a [bug report] for Python-Markdown complaining that colons are used in the ids of footnotes. For reference, we [output] the same format at PHP Markdown Extra. The general complaint is that the colon in the id attribute (`id="fnref:1"`) causes jquery to choke when referencing that id from javascript because jquery uses colons to indicate pseudo elements (as does CSS). dovecot-uidlist....
Hello Everyone: ????? Is it possible to direct dovecot to modify dovecot-uidlist automatically??? I have some user who use ancient MUA(i.e. Openwebmail) and IMAP/POP3. Since Openwebmail will insert "Status: R" in the eml file, the size of the eml file will increase by 10 bytes. If the user use Openwebmail first, then the size record(S=xxxx) in dovecot-uidlist will be fine. But if he

Escape characters or replace function
Hello, I need to use the ${DATETIME} macro inside the filename saved by Record, but the colons (':') used in the time interfere with the command (everything after the colon is interpreted as the format I wish to save to): My command is: Record(/path/to/voicemail/${EXTEN}-${DATETIME}-${UNIQUEID}:wav) I need some function to escape the colons inside DATETIME... I'm sure it's

strptime with +03:00 zone designator
OK, so the consensus is (1) One cannot make strptime accept ISO8601-compliant zone designators (2) The lubridate package can (3) Or one can hack away with regex. Lubridate it is, then. But I do regard strptime's inability to process ISO8601-compliant zone designators as a bug. On Mon, 6 Nov 2023 at 13:18, jim holtman <jholtman at gmail.com> wrote: > try using 'lubridate'

Problems with VFS Recycle on SLES9
Hi list, I have running samba 3.0.9 on a SuSE Enterprise-Server 9 with Kernel 2.6.5. Samba works very well but In have one problem while using the recycle vfs with samba: when I save a file (with wordpad or editor ...) to the network-share, a 0 byte-file will automaticly be saved to the trash-folder. After removing the file from the network-share, the real file (>0 byte) will be stored to

OT but E-Mail related. save a copy off all mail as eml
Hi, I'm sorry to bug you with an not directly dovecot related question, but this is for me right now the place with the best mailsystem admins I know. I'm asked if there is a way to save a copy of all mail we send trough our sendmail server (Red Hat EL 5.x) in and out as an .eml file for further processing by a DMS system. The files should be saved on some network share. Any suggestion
