Greetings.
We are testing with 1.2.9 and have found that with
mail_full_filesystem_access set to 'yes', we cannot force indexes for
folders under ~/mail to be stored in /var/dovecot/indexes/%u.
/var/dovecot/indexes/%u/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index* is created just fine,
but everything else ends up in ~mail/.imap.
If I change mail_full_filesystem_access to 'no', then all indexes

Sieve isn't working
Hi,
I tried to get Sieve plugin running but I don't get it to work and
actually have no idea what's wrong.
My dovecot version is 1.2.12 and dovecot -n prints this:

Dovecot crashing when attempting to search in virtual folder with fts_squat activated
Hi everyone,
I am running into a problem when trying to use fts_squat in a virtual
folder. Without fts_squat plugin the search (from, subject...) works in
all folders. With activated fts the search on the inbox folders works
expectedly well but any attempt to search anything in any virtual folder
leads to the following error. Similarly when attempting "doveadm fts
lookup". I also

Dovecot crashing when attempting to search in virtual folder with fts_squat activated
fts_squat was deprecated in 2.1. There's a high likelihood it is buggy in a variety of ways in any recent Dovecot release.

How to unset namespace configuration from dovecot.conf in conf.d/99-cutom.conf?
Dear all,
my /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf [0] that is shipped with the Linux
distro (Ubuntu 18.04, dovecot 2.3.10) has a namespace section:
namespace inbox {
...
mailbox Sent {
...
}
...
}
I need to remove this whole section from the configuration, but I need
to do this in a file such as /etc/dovecot/conf.d/99-custom.conf because

How to dsync mdbox compressed to maildir uncompressed
Hello,
we are using doveadm sync to export mdbox to maildir format, so we can use an external tool to convert into an pst file.
Since we have enabled zlib compression doveadm sync always exports the maildir gzip compressed.
Are there any ways to prevent the doveadm sync to export the maildir compressed ?

Building new graphic device drivers with g++
Dear Group,
I'm trying to build a set of new graphic device drivers. I use the
devNull example a a beginning point:
$ R CMD SHLIB devNull.c
gcc -shared -L/usr/local/lib -o devNull.so devNull.o
(everything works OK)
$ R CMD SHLIB devNull.cpp

Namespaces for Apple Client
Hi,
i have a plesk server with postfix an dovecot.
Webmail is roundcube.
Version of Dovecot is 2.3.0.1
I want apple clients to use the default special folders.
My config for namespaces worked till last week.
Now I cant get it to work again.
Hope someone can help me.

Trying to do antispam with Sieve
Hi,
Using https://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/AntispamWithSieve I'm trying to
execute scripts when moving to/from Spam folder, however nothing's
happening. The actions are:
1. Move to Spam: redirect :copy "spamcop_spam at domain.local";
2. Move from Spam: redirect :copy "spamcop_ham at domain.local";

Hi Michael,
thanks for getting back to me. I understand the alternatives to squat
are solr and lucene and have to be explicitly included into dovecot at
compilation. Unfortunately I am not in a position to manually compile
dovecot.
What other option do I have to use full text search in dovecot without
manually compilating my package?

We have been experiencing some ongoing reliability problems with
Asterisk for quite some time, and I am trying to find out if anyone else
has experienced the same problems.
We are running asterisk 1.4.17~dfsg-2+b1 on Debian Lenny, with a Digium
PRI card, and have approximately 120 sip peers, mostly Snom 360s, with a

I'm trying to build R 2.4.0 on an IBM P5-570 that's running
AIX 5.3. I'm using xlc 7.0, xlc++ 7.0 and xlf 9.1 in 32 bit
mode (OBJECT_MODE is 32 in the build environment).

mixed model with binomial link?
Hello. I have to fit a mixed model from a repeated measures split-plot
experiment in which the response variable is binary. This requires a
generalised linear mixed model in which I can specify a binomial
distribution. I can’t find the appropriate package in R. I have looked
