virtual mailbox segfault
Hello, I have a segfault problem, and I can not resolve myself. The details below (stack trace, config....). Maybe important to reproduce, everithing working well until I connect with SoGo ActiveSync (SoGo web, and other IMAP clients are working well). So maybe the SoGo send something magical command if the user client use the ActiveSyn... (the IMAP debug attached too) Thanks, Balazs Toth

quota and lazy_expunge plugins both used: quotas go wrong with lazy_expunge'd mails
Hello, I may have missed a point, but I could have found an issue between plugins quota and lazy_expunge. I have noticed that the "lazy_expunge"d mails are counted as part of the quota, while the documentation says it should not be. I have first tried to find out if this was a configuration mistake somewhere. Notably, you can notice that the expunged mails are in directory ~/expunged

deleted-to-trash plugin problems
We have a user who wants to use Outlook with our Dovecot IMAP server but doesn't like the way Outlook handles deletion with IMAP. Ironically she would like Outlook to move the message to her Trash folder, just like Outlook does with "local" folders, I guess. So I enabled the "deleted-to-trash" plugin (v0.3) on our Dovecot 1.2.17 server (built for SPARC, solaris 10,

Multiple user attributes in LDAP userdb query strings
Hello list, I have an issue with dovecot and Ldap... Any help will be grateful... I have my virtual users stored in an Active Directory database. I am using 2 attributes in AD to locate the user account: mail (their primary email address) and proxyAddresses (a multivalue attribute containing their mail aliases). I also control the mount point in which the mail is located with another attribute

dovecot_deleted_to_trash no longer compiles with dovecot 2.3.2.1
I have just upgraded to the latest version of dovecot (Gentoo amd64). When I try to compile the dovecot_deleted_to_trash plugin it won't compile. Is this plugin going to be updated (from https://github.com/lexbrugman/dovecot_deleted_to_trash - same error from https://github.com/NethServer/dovecot-deleted-to-trash)? # make cc \ -fPIC -shared -Wall \ -I/usr/include/dovecot \

how to make user iteration work (ldap)
Hi, User iteration doesn't work, we're getting: > auth: Error: Trying to iterate users, but userdbs don't support it The way I understand it, I need to set iterate_attrs and iterate_filter for iteration to work. I have set it, and yet it does't work with the above failure. Our config is against ldap (active directory) and generdoveadm user -u "*" oalally works

Deleted mailboxes with lazy_expunge
Hello, I'm trying to configure lazy_expunge plugin (as a way to provide easy backup for mails). This is my configuration (as explained in dovecot wiki): # Default namespace namespace { prefix = separator = / inbox = yes } # namespaces for lazy_expunge plugin: namespace { prefix = .EXPUNGED/ separator = / location = maildir:~/Maildir/expunged } namespace

how to make user iteration work (with active directory ldap)
We received no replies to this email that we sent a few days ago. We're not sure why. If we miss something that is obvious to everybody, kindly point it out. We ?ould like to get iteration working, to be able to mass-delete specific emails from all mailboxes, in case of for example received virusses... Here is my question again: Hi, User iteration doesn't work, we're getting:

lazy_expunge and shared folders
Hi, since migration to Dovecot 2.2 I have troubles with lazy_expunge as soon as a user shares a folder. The user the folder is shared to cannot login anymore, dovecot logs Fatal: lazy_expunge: Unknown namespace: '.EXPUNGED/' - When no folder is shared lazy_expunge is working fine, deleted mails are moved to the expunged namespace and can be recovered without any problems. - Sharing

using Lazy_Expunge to enforce retention policy
Hi, I've been experimenting with using Lazy_Expunge as a tool to enforce document retention policies (by keeping users from deleting emails forever, instead expiring them after a set time). My problem is, how do I keep the user from deleting/expunging mails *inside the expunge folder itself*? I am using dovecot-1.2.10 built from FreeBSD's ports tree, and I am using the following

lazy expunge folder delete bug
There's a bug in "folder delete" for lazy expunge, type "1 namespace", as descibed on https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Lazyexpunge When trying to delete a mailbox that still has messages in it, but that has no EXPUNGED/<name> counterpart, the process hangs after the imap "DELETE" command, and the following appears in the log file after a 60s timeout: Jun

Fatal: lazy_expunge: Unknown namespace: '.EXPUNGED/'
Hello List, with dovecot version 2.2.13.9, I actually have a problem using lazy_expunge and acl together. Shared/Public Folders work fine with lazy_expunge disabled. If lazy_expunge is enabled and userA got a shared folder form userB, then there is the error shown in subject. My test case to reproduce the error. doveadm mailbox list -u userA at domain --> Output Fine. doveadm acl set -u

Thinderbird+delete+move to Trash folder
hi All, I have a problem, which makes me headache. I can't find out, what is the problem. I have a mail szerver, which works just fine as expected, TB move messages to trash folder after I delete it, and they are moved. I have an other server. If I delete a message, it doesn't move to the Trash folder. As deleted_to_trash plugin is installed, if I only mark messages as deleted, they
