Broken physical size caching in Dovecot 2.1.10
Hi,
I'm encountering two, probably related, errors in my Dovecot 2.1.10
install. The issue relates to compressed email stored in Maildir format
directories.
In some cases, a mailbox will become inaccessible, and the following
will be logged from a doveadm fetch:-
doveadm(info at example.com): Error: Corrupted index cache file
/var/spool/virtual_mail/info_example.com_d/dovecot.index.cache:

Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always
Hiya all,
I'm seeing this "Fatal: nfs flush requires mail_fsync=always" error on
my testbed. The issue is that from what I can see, mail_fsync is set
to always :
# doveconf -n | grep mail_fs
mail_fsync = always
The result is that the client does not connect at all, which is not
really what I wanted to happen :)
Any idea what is going wrong here?
Best regards

SIP phone registering problem
I am clearly doing something ridiculously wrong.
Running Asterisk 0.7.2 on FreeBSD 5.1, I have SIP soft phones which are
unable to register. They keep trying and then time out.
With the sip debug on in Asterisk nothing is logged.
Here is the trace from one of the phones (kphone):

I created an account at IAXTEL.com to route 1-700-XXX-XXXX calls

force group does not work
Hi
I set up a samba 4.1.4 server on the latest FreeBSD RELEASE 10.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to consider the option force group. After
hours ofresearch I couldn't figure out what I'm still missing. unix
extensions is set to no. Setting the debug level up to 10 also didn't
help ;(
Is this a bug or is there simply a mistake in my setup?

Am I having problems with codecs? or am I not receiving an invite at all from my DID provider?
Hi Guys,
I have Spikko setup as provider of DID and outbound routes and I can make
calls out but no inbound calls via DID can be made. I did a sip debug which
is reported below. I never receive the call though, I have a catch all in my
inbound routes and it doesn't hit my context at all or not sip invite comes

Can someone please help with this sip2sip pjsip_wizard "no matching endpoint" issue?
Using pjsip 2.7.2 on Asterisk 15.5
Really struggling to make sense of translating these old 1.8 SIP
instructions into a neat pjsip_wizard conf suitable for 2018
http://wiki.sip2sip.info/projects/sip2sip/wiki/SipDevicesAsterisk#Version-18
In pjsip_wizard.conf, I have the following, which seems to get me
registered, and it responds to an incoming call, but I always get

Adding an AD group to /etc/sudoers?
"id" alone does not show my user in the it group
"id username" does
why would id alone give different results?
which is odd because
as my username I can get into a folder that has 0760 permissions with user
as root and it as the group
as for
%it ALL=(ALL) ALL
instead of:
%it ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
seems to work the same

possible bug with exclude/exclude-from
Hi
While trying to back up my homedir, i found what looks like a bug:
from /home, i do:
rsync -CWavP --delete --delete-excluded \
--exclude=".phoenix/default/*/Cache/" \
--exclude-from=rsync-excludes \
myusername/ targetserver:/backup/myusername/
rsync-excludes contains (without [] lines):

Problems after PC is joined to the domain - Samba 4
Hello SAMBA community,
I used this guide to join a PC to the domain as member using samba 4:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/Domain_Member
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit and I installed samba from the repos. The
stock samba version is:
# samba --version
Version 4.1.6-Ubuntu
When I tried to join the PC to the domain I got:
# net ads join -U admin

Adding an AD group to /etc/sudoers?
# cat /proc/sys/kernel/ngroups_max
65536
# sysctl kernel.ngroups_max
kernel.ngroups_max = 65536
Is there a way to change/look at AUTH_SYS?
Seems I have 28 groups now as my user
I tried created a test user with much less groups
but it turns out it is on all those other groups.
As such I tried
winbind nested groups=no
but this doesn't seem to change anything.

kerberos + winbind + AD authentication for samba 4 domain member
Hello,
I'm setting up AD user logins for centos 7.4 box. I've almost managed to
do everything the way I want and the way I think it should be, but I'm
missing last piece:

Samba/winbind with Active Directory auth
Hi List,
I'm installing a Samba server with the intended purpose of serving files to
Windows users with seamless authentication on the smb server.
For that, I've been reading and following every single google search result
regarding the subject, but it seems I'm stuck at some point where other
people are not blocked ...
To summarize, I have these commands OK:

Taking determinant of a matrix of NAs results in intermittent memory corruption
Greetings; I've posted the following to R's bug tracking system (at https://bugs.r-project.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17210 ) and Martin Maechler requested that I post to this list as well.
If I start R from the command line with --vanilla, then repeatedly execute the following line:
det(matrix(nrow=10,ncol=10))
... I eventually get a crash, with error:
