Is the trunk version of Pigeonhole still broken or am I missing something?
Things broke a couple of months back and I thought I had caught the
repository at a bad time, but trying again today, after having seen that
people had been working on it recently, bore the same result.
../../../../libtool: line 2072: cmd-vacation.c: command not found
I'm simply syncing with the repository and using autogen, configure and
make.
Are there any other steps required?

dsync issue: "Server sent invalid input: Error parsing input: Unexpected ')'"
Hi,
I'm trying to use dsync (dovecot version 2.1.9) for IMAP only per-user
migration from other IMAP servers to my shiny new one. One worked quite
well, but there is a problem with an old IMAP server:
dsync(migtest at office): Debug: imapc(imap-sunw-old.servers.intra:143): Looking up IP address

need help with metadata plugin
Hello,
I've downloaded the metadata plugin from
http://hg.intevation.org/kolab/dovecot-metadata-plugin
compiled it without errors, made the entries as described in README
in dovecot.conf. Only ANNOTATEMORE or anything else additional
doesn't show up in the capabilties.
Is there anything wrong with my configuration?
What I see is:
telnet localhost 143
Trying 127.0.0.1...

dovecot-2.0-pigeonhole-0.2.1 installation in wrong lib dir?
I am building dovecot-2.0-pigeonhole-0.2.1 (dovecot-2.0.5, but that does
not matter) with dovecot-config in place (in /usr/lib64/dovecot) on a
64bit Linux (RHEL5):
./configure --with-dovecot=/usr/lib64/dovecot
The libs needed for several executables in libexec such as
/usr/libexec/dovecot/managesieve-login are not installed in /usr/lib64 but
in /usr/lib64/dovecot. Therefore the executable

1.0alpha5 released
We have now some new big features:
- Beginnings of dbox mailbox format. It should work, but if you happen
to delete/break index files, the mails aren't found again. So really not
a good idea to use it for more than testing.
- GSSAPI (Kerberos 5) support by Jelmer Vernooij with some fixes by
pod@herald.ox.ac.uk
- Added dictionary API to Dovecot, similar to what Postfix has. It can
be used

dsync core dump
Dear all,
We're slowly progressing towards migration, and now run into dscyn
dumping core when trying to sync mailboxes from the old imap server.
Needless to say that not one byte get's transferred. On the old.server
all I see is a correct login.
This is what we get for one example user:
server:~# doveadm -v -D backup -R -u USER imapc:

Bug tracking system
There are three reasons why I haven't really bothered setting up a bug
tracking system for Dovecot:
1) They're all kind of annoying to use.
2) They all require a lot of stuff like PHP, SQL server, etc. which I
don't really want to put into dovecot.org.
3) Probably most importantly: If people start reporing bugs in there,
I'm pretty much the only person who will ever read them

Pigeonhome Sieve: check existence of a folder?
Dear All,
Thanks ofr the great job so far.
I have crawled the doc & web, and did not find oh to check for the
presence of a folder ina? a mailbox?
I know about "fileinto :create" of course, but the purpose is slightly
different: I want to automate the move into a folder based on some rules
but *only if* an associated folder is present (which name is based on
the rule),

(no subject)
I've run into a problem with `doveadm backup` (2.2 rc2 and 20130226)
I did not notice in 2.1.15
doveadm backup [-Dv] -R -u cyrtest1 at iai.uni-bonn.de -m INBOX imapc:
=> crashes (signal 6 with acl plugin configured, sig 11 without acl)
If this is considered a bug (not just because of the crash but in the
meaning of "my configuration should work") it would be great if it could
