hMailServer- where are winetricks mdac and jet40 ?
Lubuntu 11.10 + LXDE, Wine 1.3.28 , Winetricks 0.0+20110229 I am trying to install hMailServer 5.3.3 . The hMailServer installer warns "it appears another mail server is already running, you should close it", but there is no other mail server running. The warning should read "you can only bind to privileged ports when running as root". I can cope with using other ports once I

Re: [users] CentOS 4.2 dag repo problem.
Hello, It would be nice if we could get a full list of packages which have a wrong sha1 checksum. I don't have the bandwidth for a full mirror of all of Dag's rpms and i also don't have shell access to such a mirror. So a small request for a mirror admin: The following checks the files repodata/*.xml.gz against the sha1 sums in repomd.xml and checks the RPMS/*.rpm files against

Problems in auth when switching from PLAIN-MD5
Hi, i am running dovecot 2.0.11 (with mysql backend) and until now using PLAIN-MD5 as pass default_pass_scheme everything was working fine. However i wanted to change the pass_scheme to something stronger than plain-md5, so i started by reading the wiki. I found this: http://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/ConvertPasswordSchemes But when i comment out "default_pass_scheme" and i create the

IMAP proxy with master user and CRAM-MD5 auth mechanism
Hello, I would like to know if it possible to have a dovecot IMAP proxy frontend where CRAM-MD5 can be used as auth mechanism (assuming I would be using a master user/password on the dovecot IMAP backend/mailbox)? I have read a few times the following http://wiki2.dovecot.org/PasswordDatabase/ExtraFields/Proxy page but somehow it is still unclear to me if the IMAP proxy then needs to have all the

List delays
Is it just me? After the mail list server upgrade, the average delivery time for messages to the users list is between 4 and 5 days. The Dev list seems fine! Using pgsql with 'cram-md5 auth' and 'hmac-md5 scheme'
Hello, I want to use PostgreSQL to store my Dovecot users. I setup a very basic configuration, following word for word this page http://wiki.dovecot.org/DovecotPostgresql and it works ... almost. In fact, it works if I use PLAIN password scheme in my database. However, I would like to store them encrypted. But, if I replace the password field for my user with {HMAC-MD5}-... (the password

Dovecot auth-worker error after cram-md5 auth
Because cram-md5 needs the user's password for calculating responses, it cannot work with hashed passwords (one-way encrypted). The only supported password schemes are PLAIN and CRAM-MD5.
