Replication and Sieve
Hi, I've got two servers set up for replication, which is working fine - except the sieve scripts. While the first replication, the existing rules have been replicated well. Also the activation/Deactivation seems to work. But Changes to the rules doesn't seem to be transferred. Configuration should be the same as the other server, except for mail_replica dovecot -n: # 2.2.15:

Problem with rules being 'ignored'
Hey there, sorry to bug you, I've ran into a little problem conscerning a logcheck-rule I just wrote. I use logcheck and logcheck-database on Debian Etch. When logcheck reports me something I don't want it to, I normally write a rule to match that logentry and put it in a file called my_rules in /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/ ... that worked perfectly fine. Until that rule: Logcheck

Replication and Sieve
Hi, Hanns Mattes <hanns at hannsmattes.de> schrieb: [replication not updating sieve rules] I didn't get any further but at least I saw an error message. After I deleted one user's home-directory on one of the two machines, maillog was showing (on both machines with a short delay): ,----[ /var/log/mail ] | dsync-server(someuser at example.com): Panic: file dsync-brain-mailbox.c: |

Hi, Robert Schetterer <rs at sys4.de> schrieb: >[...] > >so suse people may upgrade to sieve pigeonhole latest, contact them via >mail etc >[...] I sent a mail to one of the Maintainers (darix) and they updated only an hour later - very nice guy. After the following upgrade, the sieve-scripts are replicated - very good. Best regards Hanns Mattes

Migrate Separator and prefix
Hi, I'm thinking of changing the separator form "." to "/" and also to allow only folders under INBOX, changing the Prefix. I have to dovecot-servers, which are synched by the replication plugin. My idea is to switch off Server B, make the necessary config-changes, delete all user maildirs, restart the server an let replication do it's work. After that (and

Quota reporting
Hi, my main server will be upgraded from Dovecot 1.2something to 2.2. For testing I've installed a setup with postfix, handing malis as a relay via lmtp. So far it's up and running - really nice. AFAICS there's one issue left: Thunderbird and Kmail don't show the quota status. Using doveadm quota the information is shown correctly, even the user-specific values (coming from

Still no emails since Feb. 6
I checked my settings on the dovecot mailman page, and although my account was set to "disable" email, after changing it and attempting to have the list resend my password, I'm still not seeing emails. The last time I received emails, the outgoing server for the list was sent from the IP 193.210.130.67. Is that still correct? I've checked my logs to see if there's
