2.0.12 ipwd.c does not compile under solaris
the new src/lib/ipwd.c introduced in 2.0.12 no longer compiles on
solaris. Under solaris,
the *_r routines doesn't pass in result as the last parameter and return
errno - it just returns result.
obviously a job for configure.....

Dovecot 2.2.10 crash / infinite loop bug
Hello,
I though this bug should be reported, although there is workaround
already made and in use.
Dovecot 2.2.10 crashes into out of memory error when there is defined
system users (userdb+passdb) and own virtual users (userdb+passdb).
Removing either one solves the issue and Dovecot is working as it
should. When memory leak (I replaced pw_init and gr_init with the
version that is found

thanks for your reply. Does that mean that the rpi build environment is not uptodate?

Dovecot v2.0.12 OpenBSD - getpwuid() error
Hi!
I've upgraded from 2.0.11 to 2.0.12. I've experienced errors during
delivery with dovecot-lda. The error log attached contains the errors.
Since then I had to downgrade to 2.0.11, to make it work again.
When starting 2.0.12, it couldn't chown() the files under /var/dovecot
(eg.: dict) to the user specified in the configuration file.
Configuration:
# doveconf -n

Hi,
I have tried both RC4 and from the repository but I can't seem to get
samba4 to compile. I have rebuilt the OS (Centos 6.3) from scratch and I am
still having the same issue. I get:

how to merge distance data based on location
Hi all,
I have two data frames, two columns each, 1000s of rows. Each row
represents a segment of the genome where a deletion has occurred.
First column is start position of the deletion in genomic distance,
second is end position.
So, e.g., first 3 rows of data frame A is:
1003 1023
5932 6120
12348 12689
first 3 rows of data frame B is:
852 5305
1010 1015
8500 9500
10000 13000
I want to merge

Nice one for a Friday afternoon ...
I'm trying to follow this section of the manual :

My OS is Linux Mint Debian Edition. To get gcc-4.9 I added Debian

hi,
I've installed a testversion from 2.0.12 and getting coredumps after

Make/Build Error on armhf
Hi,
I noticed the same, actually with many more shared libraries. It already
has been filed as bug https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13754
with version 4.10.0rc4 .
Looking at what actually happens in detail no exotic build options are
used so at first sight it looks more like a problem of the build tools
on the RPi than a Samba problem.
The simplest situation I could find was

Make/Build Error on armhf
Hi Dirk.
Ok, now im ready with the debian packages for 4.10, this could make your life more easy.
I've not tested this but should work, you could try this.
Install a debian 9 server as minimal as possible, so choose expert install, only install ssh server, nothing else.
Now in this order, start building the armhf samba 4.10 packages
This should be easy todo now since i've match the
