similar to: Vpopmail and lastauth

Hi All, I have dovecot working wonderfully on a qmail/vpopmail, but I've noticed my 'lastauth' is never filled in.. If I use vpopmail's pop, and auth to that, then 'lastauth' is updated. It just seems weird that if dovecot is using the vpopmail lib, that lastauth wouldn't be updated. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks Rick

Hi, First, I'm not sure if dovecot should alter this, but it seems vpopmail writes the IP into the 'remote_ip' field instead of the auth type. Dovecot still writes the auth type.? I want both. So I modified my vpopmail install to write an additional field into the lastauth table.? My custom vpopmail writes the remote IP into remote_ip, and the auth type into a 'type'

Hello, I'm using dovecot 2.1.1 with vpopmail 5.4.30 with multiples domains and I have problems setting up synchronization in between multiple computers. All act like master (my clients can connect to any of the them and read their emails either via POP3 either via IMAP, inbound email gets on any of the machines).
