domain variable still empty
Hello all,
First, thanks for your help with my previous NFS problem. I am trying
to mount a mail server, with debian and dovecot 1.2.
Until now, I have both shared and public folders working, on a NFS
share. indexes are stored locally, as well as per user flags. Sive is
also working :-)
Now, I'd like to restrict sharing by domain, and for this, to use the
"%d" variable

inetd/xinetd/tcpserver support
I was just thinking how they could be easily supported. This would work,
right? :
imap stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/imap-login
imaps stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/imap-login --ssl
imap-login would try to connect to master process using some named
socket. If it couldn't, it would create the master process itself.

Running mailfront under dovecot2.x service supervision
Hello,
I'm trying to run mailfront SMTP (http://untroubled.org/mailfront/) under
Dovecot 2.x process/service supervision
My intention was to utilize the fact that dovecot2.x seems to have some kind
of generic process/service supervision as well as builtin ssl support.
But I cannot get the most simple generic service setup (without ssl) to
work.
Currently running dovecot 2.0.11 on FreeBSD

$MAIL environment variable to override mail_location works in v1.2.16 but not in v2.0.7 for /usr/libexec/dovecot/imap
Hi,
For the past day, I have been researching about making dovecot to
support mailfront (http://untroubled.org/mailfront/) imapfront-auth
natively and able to use mailfront imapfront-auth with dovecot imap
v1.2.16 without starting any dovecot related services and no
/etc/dovecot.conf file is required.
More information about this can be read at:

sieve vacation error
Hello everybody,
First, I want to thank the development team for the quality and the
stability of dovecot. It's now running without problem since two years
on my debian box.
Next, I'd like you help me to solve the problem I have with
vacation/sieve script. My configuration is debian lenny, with standard
dovecot packages (1.0). I have setup the sieve plugin, using roundcube

Dovecot and horde issues
Hello,
First time poster to this list, please be kind.
I am having difficulties trying to get the current stable version of
horde's imp webmail to work correctly using dovecot 1.0rc15. I am
using a pre-release version of SME Server 8 which runs on top of
CentOS 5. I have also tried using the 1.0 release of dovecot as well.
What is happenning is that when I login to imp, I don't

stamp function in R
Dear R experts,
currently I'm converting a bit of trivial
Splus code to R.
In Splus I came across the stamp function.
Does R have something similar?
Thank you very much for your time.
Ananke
P.S.: Keep up the good work on R.
It's great!

can R produce gifs?
Dear R users,
I would like to produce gifs or jpegs with R,
as I would like to display them on a webpage.
Is there an easier/faster/better way to do it
than to generate postscript files and then use
a utility like pstogif. The problem is that if
possible I would like to get away without installing
ghostscript, as my quota is too small.
Thank you very much for your time and bandwidth,
Ananke

Colouring areas on a map with updated maptools functions
Hi -
I'm trying to plot a map from a shapefile and then colour different areas of
it depending on different attributes of those areas. A couple of years ago I
used some code to do this that would plot a map in R from a shapefile
(states within a country). It then uploaded a .txt file which had the same
number of rows as the shapefile and one column populated with numbers from 1
to 8 which

relay-ctrl works
In case anyone still cares, relay-ctrl works with Dovecot. Dovecot's
end of the bargain requires a dirty little script to set TCPREMOTEIP
based on the arguments passed from imap-login:
#!/bin/sh
TCPREMOTEIP=`echo "$@" | sed -e 's|.* ||' -e 's|]$||'`
export TCPREMOTEIP
exec "$@"
And this (long) line in dovecot.conf:

Animated gif or something similar in R?
I'm have a (minor) problem and a question.
Problem: The following code creates 5 clusters of dots of different
colors. However, I need the second call outside the data.frame call to
get the colors to change for some reason. I assume there's an error in
the data.frame() call, but I don't know what.
Question: Is there is a way to cause the resulting graphic to rotate on

Important emails
Hi,
Sorry if I am not posting on the right mailing list, but I need email

I have developed a small perl script for Amavis that tries to recognise
business emails from bulk & mailing lists, in order to promote
'important' emails, ala google. This is a feature I found very useful in
corporate environments, where a lot of users are receiving

How to fill the aerea under a plot?
Dear R users,
I hope that this question is not too dumb,
but I can't figure out how to do it.
I plot a function, e.g.
plot(sin, -pi, 2*pi).
Then I would like to have the aerea

from x ranging from -3 to 0, shaded
red and the other part (x from 0 to 6) under
the graph e.g. green or sth. like that..
Any hints on how to do that?
