login_process_size too small on x86_64 Fedora/RHEL
Hello, as described in [253363], login_process_size of 32M is not enough on 64-bit versions of Fedora and RHEL (and possibly other distributions as well). [253363] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=253363 As I understand it, there's an intersegment gap between read-only/executable and writable segments of shared libs. That's probably a security feature or something. I found a

Errors starting Dovecot
Hi, I'm new to Dovecot. I'm trying to start Dovecot(2.0.9) but I'm getting an error. I think the error is because I'm doing a tutorial for an old version of Devcot(1.x.x). What I get is the following: [code] [root at mailserver dovecot]# service dovecot start Starting Dovecot Imap: doveconf: Warning: NOTE: You can get a new clean config file with: doveconf -n >

Sizing login_process_size and login_processes_count?
Any suggestions on sizing login_process_size and login_processes_count for a server expected to be doing 100 to 200 simultaneous connections? Is there a way to separate login_processes_count between imap and pop? I would like to have at least 50 imap processes ready, but we rarely have any more than 5 to 10 pop connections. Would be a shame to have 40+ pop login processes doing nothing most

v2.0.beta4: conversion of v1.2 configuration
Hi Timo, I've just tried to convert my v1.2 configuration to a v2.0 configuration. migrate dovecot files 1.2.16 to 2.0.13 (OpenBSD 5.0)
Hi, I have a mailserver(Postfix+MySql) on OpenBSD 4.9 with Dovecot 1.2.16, all works fine. Now i want to do the same but on OpenBSD 5.0. I meet problems using dovecot 2.0.13 on OpenBSD 5.0.
