Naive suggestions for (kinda) funding
First of all, don't shoot me if I got some things wrong.
I personally recommend (without much success :-)) to buy from www.cheeplinux.com (Definite Software), because I believe this is of some help to the CentOS project. At least, to some people involved in it (please correct me if I'm wrong).
?1. Anyway, as PayPal is _not_ an option for some countries, donations to CentOS.org can't

2 DVDs for CentOS 5.5
Just finished downloading the DVD with bittorrent. Ended up with two iso
files (1 of 2 and 2 of 2). sha1sum checks out on both.
This is the first time I've encountered two DVDs. Will the install
politely ask for DVD #2 when it is time?

Merging Install DVDs on a PXE server
Hi all,
Probably a simple question, but, I'd like to merge both install DVDs
into one directory on my PXE server. Obviously I will need to copy all
of the files, but do I need to cast a magical incantation to recreate
.discinfo, .treeinfo, etc?
Thanks!

that sounds like display driver issues. in VLC, try turning off all
video hardware acceleration options.

Tapes... DVDs... Now this...
Hey,
Then I started ''teaching''. You know, I''m a good teacher. (Well, maybe just an average teacher, but you get the jist). I know what good teachers do. Or I thought I did. I sat with the children at the computer. When they pressed the IntelliKeys'' keyboard or the Touch Window'' and the computer said the word, I repeated the word and then expanded on

Hi all!
I'm trying to finish setting up my newly upgraded C7 system.
It's on the same hardware I ran C6 on for several years. on C6 I had no
trouble playing DVDs (after installing tons of packages and libdvdcss).
Well, on C7, I've got totem (videos) and all its plugins I can find
via yum, VLC (from nux) all the gstreamer and gstreamer1 packages I
can find, everything with
