Samba4 PDC to Samba4 DC works great, Win2003 PDC to Samba4 DC not so great
I've posted before about this but I'll add more info. I've set up two Samba DCs in a domain, using both 4.0.7 and 4.1RC1, and all works great including Forest and Domain DNS repl in both directions. When I add a Samba 4.0.7 or 4.1RC1 DC to an existing Win2003 PDC with Forest level of 2003, Forest and Domain DNS repl is only from PDC to DC, never in the other direction. I've

Great Job Instant Rails Team
Hey John, I received the same type of functionality but I simply used WebBrick instead of SCGI and I was up and running. Great Job Instant Rails Team! :-) BTW, I have used rails on my PowerMac but this is the first for the PC and it took me less than 10 minutes to get operational. This includes download time, unpacking, and firing up the cookbook application. Now, I wish that my .Net project

Great work on wxRuby2
I''m impressed by the latest release of wxRuby2! Thanks to all the developers who worked on making this possible. It''s great to have wxWidgets working with Ruby - and the new sample programs are a tremendous help. There is a 700+ page book on wxWidgets - Cross-Platform GUI Programming with

STARTING needs a great deal too LONG
Hi. When I installed WINE the first time, everything worked long - except Battle.net in Warcraft (it was v0.9.45 and I found out, that it wont work). I installed the newest version (v0.9.55) and really tried everything, but it doesn't work well: The problem is, that everything needs about 5-10 minutes. When I start winecfg - when I start any program with wine (wine war3.exe) - it always needs

Such a great product.
Once again, I find shorewall to be a great product. I wanted to add a second IP address using once card, ie eth0:1, and then forward only what comes to that interface to a DMZ host. Shorewall easily handled my needs, with only 2 minutes of reading the FAQ, and 30 seconds of editing. Thanks again!

Great job to all who work on FreeBSD!
[ sorry for the cross-post, but both "camps" deserve this message ] A hearty "thank you" to all FreeBSD developers and a job well done! I've been "out of the loop" on FreeBSD due to utter busy-ness on the job and at home (along with general apathy for being in front of a computer outside work) for about 2.5 years now. I decided to finally upgrade one of my boxes
