IMAP V4 Rev.1 supported in dovecot 1.0.rc7
Hi.
I'm running dovecot 1.0.rc7 in a RHEL.
I need to know if this version supports IMAPV4 rev1 and IDLE for a new

Thanks.

Behavior difference in mbox versus Maildir listing
Hi,
My MUA (claws-mail) is having a hard time listing directories
for a mail account with two namespaces, one of which using mbox and the
other one using maildir to store mails.
Let's call the namespaces "#mbox." and "#maildir." and have "." as
separator.
Assume I have the following folder hierarchy:
$namespace
$namespace folder
$namespace folder folder1a

IMAP and webmail applications
I've been hunting around for a webmail application other than
squirrelmail for reasons that really don't matter.
But I'm seeing that a lot of these applications tend to sometimes access
servers via IMAP, but they always seem to have a touch more information
needed than might be for an IMAP session.
An example is openwebmail. It authenticates very similar to how dovecot

Printing a plot on Windows
I am using R 1.5.0 for Windows. When trying to print a plot produced by R
clicking on the printer icon, or by clicking on "FILE - Print", there is no
response. This happens under Windows 95 and 98.
Has somebody found this problem? Is there a solution besides saving the plot
and printing it using another application?
Thanks for the help.

greetings and logging
Howdy,
I've been working with a new CentOS installation and this is my first
experience with dovecot. I would like dovecot to provide more logging,
however I'm not finding much on how to alter it's logging.
http://wiki.dovecot.org/DovecotFeatures speaks of having Logging Control.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Outlook 2010 very slow when using IMAP - are there any tweaks?
Hi,
though this is a bit of a side question, has anybody had an issue
while running Outlook 2010 with Dovecot?
The reason why I am asking is that I have setup a Dovecot 2.1.7 server
on FreeBSD which works fantastically with Thunderbird but Outlook
seems to be twice as slow in transferring information across??
# dovecot -n
# 2.1.7: /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf

Push Mail?
Hi Guys,
I am just about to get my hands on a new blackberry mobile phone and I have
done quite a bit of reading about different bits about getting the
blackberry to work with Dovecot.
Can anyone make any suggestions about the best way to either implement a
solution like push mail for dovecot? or is there a plugin etc?
Hope someone can help me, thanks in advance.
Kind Regards
Tony

Dovecot Feature List
I've added a new page to the Wiki that's sort of a Dovecot feature list
overview. What I have is a good start but if anyone wants to jump in and
contribute, go for it. I added it because there isn't any other place I
saw that gives new people an overview of what Dovecot does. I personally
passed Dovecot over a few times before somone pointed me back to it.

Running dovecot under Cygwin
Hi,
In http://wiki2.dovecot.org/DovecotFeatures I found the following statement regarding devcot support of cygwin:
Cygwin works after a few code changes, but doesn't support SCM_RIGHTS
I downloaded "dovecot-2.2.13.tar.gr" and tried to compile it under cygwin version 1.7.30 (0.272/5/3) CYGWIN_NT-6.3-WOW642.580 (32-bit).
As I executed the:
$./configure
I got the following

Yes, that's my understanding.

Cool, I'm happy it helps.
