Asterisk & iSeries AS/400
Hey everybody,
I'm currently look for a script that would allow:
Querying a client, via an IVR for things such as zipcode, Area code
or maybe a portion of the last name.
Using that information to make a Linux ODBC query to an iSeries
AS/400 database.
The information gained from that query would be converted to an
audio stream that is then played back to the client.

Regarding Static website generator [GSOC Docs-toolchain]
Hi,
Lei and I have been working on the project, based on community input. We
have implemented two way sync between github and pagure as suggest by many.
Now we want build the site and display it to user. There are number of
options mkdocs, hugo(docker uses it now) etc.
There are pros and cons to each site generator. To use hugo, we need the
user to have hugo installed too, and than he needs to

RHEL4 as 64-bit HVM guest -- not starting in 64 bit mode
I''m trying to install RHEL 4 on an HVM (Core 2 Duo). However, when
the RHEL installer tries to start the kernel, it complains that the
CPU doesn''t support extended mode, and that I should use a 32-bit
installer.
However:

Metadata size
I''m a little concerned about the size of my metadata. I''m doing
raid10 on both data and metadata, and:

Data: total=488.01GB, used=487.23GB
Metadata: total=3.01GB, used=677.73MB
System: total=11.88MB, used=52.00KB

By my calculations, that''s something on the order of 17.5K per

login_* options for 1.0.15
Hello all,
Although i'm aware that version 1.0.15 is rather old, that's what is
used in Lenny, so...
Either way, the setup is rather simple, regular dovecot install, with
maildirs residing on a "local" ext3 filesystem accessed through FC to a
SAN (2Gbps link). The server has 2 cores (with HT), so "almost" 4 cores
and 3GB of ram.
A couple weeks ago we had a major

mailtrain with dovecot antispam plugin
Hello all, and Johannes if you're around,
I was trying to set up the "new" antispam plugin with the mailtrain
backend, and i was trying to use the sendmail binary that's part of a
qmail system. The message wouldn't get sent and i kept getting exit
error 100 from the /var/qmail/bin/sendmail binary. To try to figure out
what was happening, i mean a fake sendmail program,

btrfs-progs: integration branch updated
After a reorganisation of patches, and sending a bunch of them to
Chris, I''ve also updated the integration branch to match that. It''s
available from:
http://git.darksatanic.net/repo/btrfs-progs-unstable.git/ integration-20110630
The shortlog of 17 patches in this branch beyond the ones I''ve sent
to Chris is below.

So the current 'Power Systems' range combines what was AS/400 with what
was RS/6000. They all use Power CPUs now and run Linux, IBM i, or AIX.

[PATCH] btrfs-progs: add Makefile rule for static build of btrfs-find-root
From: Hugo Mills <h.r.mills@reading.ac.uk>
btrfs-find-root isn''t yet integrated into the main btrfs tool, and is
an important recovery tool, so it deserves to be built as a static
binary.

Winbind scalability issue
In other people's environments or test situations, what kind of scalability
do you see with winbind? How many aggressive users can be supported?
Using:
Suse SLES 8 for ibm iSeries
Samba authentication with winbind against win2k active directory.
at the moment, a 100 FD network connection
3 windows DC's to authenticate against.

SDL display of HVMs -- how?
I''m having some trouble working out how to make the SDL interface
for HVM domUs appear. The documentation simply says "it will appear"
when you start the domU, but doesn''t state what packages or libraries
are needed in order for this magic to happen, or explain how to debug
it if it doesn''t happen. All that I''m getting at the moment is a domU

New btrfs-progs integration branch
I''ve just pushed out a new integration branch to my git repo. This
is purely bugfix patches -- there are no new features in this issue of
the integration branch. I''ve got a stack of about a dozen more patches
with new features in them still to go. I''ll be working on those
tomorrow. As always, there''s minimal testing involved here, but it

validation only on a specific action
Hello again!
I have a action that lists users and that allows an admin user to create
new users. When the admin user creates a new user an e-mail is sent to
the created user telling him to register in the site. I want to validate
the user name and password only when the user register and not when the
admin user creates it. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
Thanks.

UIDL and message migration
Hello,
I'm in the process of migrating accounts between two dovecot servers. An
old server running ancient 1.0.15 and a new server running 1.2.15.
Account migration is going to be gradual and so i would like to use
imapsync to move messages and subscriptions from one server to the
other. The only problem so far is with POP users. After doing an account
migration with imapsync, and

VICA TRONIX 620
Hi,
Here in Mexico they sell a UPS by VICA model TRONIX 620 and claim it "works" on Linux. Communicating with them results in that they don't seem to know. Anybody ever heard of a box like that?
