Dovecot 1.2.12+Postfix+Active Directory: virtual domain name dropped.
I have a Windoze-only client who wants to move their mail hosting from
godaddy.com hosting to an in-house system. I'm pitching Linux as an
alternative to Exchange, and trying to set up a demonstration system for
them. While a long-time Linux user, my server admin experience has been in
setting up front-ends (mostly Apache-based web interfaces) for the embedded
systems I specialize in.

the bug is still reproducible with the latest kernel and Xen packages
from
Debian Wheezy. Unfortunately it seems like a corner case, somehow
related
to the hardware

d3dx9_36 : How to handle bug reporting
Howdy folks,
The implementation of DirectX 9 in Wine has gone much forward, to the point where most of the lacking functions in the helper dlls are in a single dll : d3dx9_36. It is becoming much less necessary to run winetricks d3dx9.
At the moment I am in the process of testing all the game apps I have (around 100) without any overrides. I am looking in particular at d3dx9_36 and msvcrt. At

Day.find_all_with_appointments - INNER JOIN
Hi list,
Is there a better/simpler way to code an inner join, than the 4 lines below:
class Day < Foo
def self.find_all_with_appointments (*args)
find :all,
{ :select => ''distinct foos.*'',
:joins => ''INNER JOIN appointments ON days.appointment_id
= foos.id''
}.merge

SMBCLIENT to Domain-Laden NT SP3
I am trying to list the shares on an NT 4.0 SP3 system.
I supply the -L <host> and -U <user> parameter and the password.
The password is correct, but I get an error 2242 returned. On a similar
machine configured without domains I have no problem. I have built using
DES and without DES and have tried the -DBSD44 switch and without
it (this is on FreeBSD). Enclosed is the debug

Caching of collections/references on session?
I''m using the user engine and therefore have a current_user User object
on my sessions. User has a collection called ''properties'' and I am
accessing the Property objects via the current_user session variable and
also directly with Property.find. The problem I have is that rails seems
to be caching the properties collection over requests (I can see the
