Migrate from Maildir to mdbox
Looking at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Migration/MailFormat, I do not see much on how to do a migration from Maildir to mdbox. That page isn't quite updated it looks. I have several domains (virtual) with the following storage layout: /var/spool/virtual/$domain. So the users have their mail stored as follows: /var/spool/virtual/domain1/$user/Maildir /var/spool/virtual/domain2/$user/Maildir

fts-elastic plugin
Hi all, I have recently worked on fts plugin for ElasticSearch. https://github.com/filiphanes/fts-elastic It is forked from fts-elasticsearch as you can see in PR https://github.com/atkinsj/fts-elasticsearch/pull/21 with following changes (maybe some more) - no duplicate json keys in indexed documents, so compatible with ES 7.x - 1 elastic index for all users with routing by username -

Dsync and SIS
Hi all, Just to clarify, if we back up a dovecot 2 server with SIS for attachments and ALT storage by rsyncing it (including the SIS and ALT storage) to a remote server when it's idle (or at least almost entirely so), and run dovecot on that machine, would it seem feasible to restore backups from that server by using dysnc - specifically for the scenario where someone accidentally

Hi, Another day, another dysnc attempt. Using Dovecot v2.2.5.4; I see: # doveadm -v -o imapc_user=user at example.com -o imapc_password=password -o imapc_host=imap.example.com -o imapc_port=993 -o imapc_ssl=imaps -o imapc_ssl_dir=/etc/ssl -o imapc_feature=rfc822.size -o imapc_ssl_verify=no sync -1 -R -u user at example.com imapc: dsync(user at example.com): Info: copy from Drafts: box=Drafts,

dsync with imapc and hidden folders
Hello, I'm trying to use dsync to copy mail from one server to a newer one, so I'm using imapc as source (when running dsync in the destination server). The command I'm using is like this: sudo dsync -vD -o imapc_user="<myuser>*master" -o imapc_password="<master pass>" -o imapc_host=<original server> -o imapc_features=rfc822.size -o

Alt Storage and dsync
Stupid question but if dovecot mdbox is configured using alt path storage on a bi directional dysnc replicated pair of servers ... will the doveadm altmove need to be run on both halves of the cluster ??? rgds Matt -- <https://www.postbox-inc.com/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=siglink&utm_campaign=reach> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...

Problem with mail_location and INDEX location
HI, I'm pulling my hair out a little trying to get dovecot to save it's index locally rather than in the NFS mount. No matter what I do it seems to save the indices in the Maildir on the NFS. I'm using dovecot 2.0.18 on CentOS 6.3. The relevant config I'm using: mmap_disable = no dotlock_use_excl = no # only needed with NFSv2, NFSv3+ supports O_EXCL and it's faster

Hmmm... sorry i mislead you Tay... i didn't realise my encoder (libfishsound) was again shifting the data i gave it back to being 32767 based internally. Listing folders on One Drive
Hello I have lots of folders of individual Scottish river catchments on my uni One Drive. Each folder is labelled with the river name eg "Tay" and they are all in a folder named "Scotland" I want to list the folders on One Drive so that I can cross check that I have them all against a list of folders on my laptop. Can I somehow use list.files() - I've tried various things

speex voice seems to be bit breaking over long distance.
Hi, Ok, what you suggest sound logical to me. Currently, I have done a small trick to prevent this problem. What I did is that whenever windows request a voice packet from me and if I do not have the voice packet, I repeat the previous packet. Hence, all the breaking portion is filled with previous packet. This trick seems to work so far. I am not sure what is the side effect. I think jitter

Request for VPN:Poptop HowTo
Hi I am not sure am I allow to request a howto here. So I think I should give it a try to ask. Does anyone has any experience with POPTOP on CentOS, will you mind sharing your experience on how to set it up? I think a mini HowTo for this topic will be very useful. Speex sound a little artificial?
Hi, This applies to everyone having (or suspecting) problems with Speex. The first thing to do is to encode the file in wav format and use speexenc/speexdec on it. If you're getting something different with your application, it's likely buggy. If the result isn't OK, then it can be: 1) Normal given the bandwidth/bit-rate used 2) A conditioning problem with your audio (i.e. DC not

Speex over 56.6K modem
I use Speex with dialup modem users. Even if the dialup modem is "56K", you should assume that upstream bandwidth available is only 20-30kbps at the most. I use 16kHz wideband mode and VBR quality 2. Also, I send 80ms (4 frames) per packet, because there is an overhead of approximately 33 bytes per packet due to UDP (8 bytes), IP (20 bytes), and PPP (~5 bytes) headers. If you

Listing folders on One Drive
I would just use fi <- file.info(dir(path, recursive=TRUE, include.dirs=TRUE)) path could be the OneDrive directory or Scotland (and is not needed if you're already in the directory you want). Then rownames(subset(fi, isdir)) will contain all the directories. Maybe you want to use grep or other machinery to thin it out. Regards, Jorgen Harmse.?

Encoding and decoding problem in speex 1.0.4
Hi, I am using the speex 1.0.4 library from Windows. I have posted my problem before but didn't get a solution. I am doing an VOIP project in which i am recording sound and streaming it to the peer. I wanted to encode and decode wav files that brought me to this site. I am recording sound in the following format:- m_WaveFormatEx.wFormatTag = WAVE_FORMAT_PCM;

No. Speex expects values in the +-32767 range, not +-1.0. Just converting from int16 to float *is* the right thing to do. Jean-Marc -- Jean-Marc Valin <Jean-Marc.Valin@USherbrooke.ca>
