verbose_proctitle cuts dsync to proctitle to "dsyn"
Hi Timo, little cosmetic bug report: using "verbose_proctitle = yes" shortens the proctitle of dsync to just "dsyn". Example: Note the whitespace instead of the 'c' in the proctitle: root at m-st-01:~# ps auwwwx | grep [d]syn virtmail 18141 13.0 0.1 49916 7952 pts/6 R+ 00:49 0:00 dsyn -v -u xxyyzz7 -R backup maildir:/staging/xxyyzz7/Maildir With

tree connect
When trying to access a disk share (on a VMware Win2K machine) that shows up fine with smbclient -L (version 2.2.8a on Gentoo), I get a "tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED" error. Examining the TCP stream with Ethereal (see excerpts below) revealed that the initial login went fine, with password sent and accepted. However, a second authentication exchange, apparently for

2.2.8a, win me locking (?) problem
Hello! We have application written in Borland Delphi, with BDE 5 (unfortunately, I have no sources :-( ) It creates mdx files on samba share. All is OK with w2k or win98, but with Win ME programs says that file is busy, when it tries to create mdx (index ) file. If it says that file is busy it is impossible to create this file from another machine with w2k or win98- program says that file

We need the RHEL compatibility for support contract for different tools we use. So far it has been great. Using domain logons with 2 controllers and wireless lan
Hi all, Sorry if the subject is a bit irrelevant or hard to understand, I have no idea on what subject should I put down. My company has a samba domain controller. All users must logon before they can gain access to the fileserver and printers. My home also has a samba domain controller. I use it mainly for file sharing on my home network. Now I am planning to purchase a laptop with wireless

What will happen from time to time (although its now happened 3 times in the last 5 days, hence this email) is people will be slow to log in, if at all. Several things appear to happen.
