auto_complete_with_index_for
I have a crude hack to allow auto_complete to work with indexed text fields. I needed it for a timecard entry form with an arbtirary number of records which can be added/changed/delete willy-nilly by users. One of the fields is a perfect candidate for autocomplete since it references a database object with a large number of choices and long descriptions. Using a select list is extremely ugly in

[LLVMdev] Possible DAGCombiner or TargetData Bug
I got bit by this in LLVM 2.4 DagCombiner.cpp and it's still in trunk: SDValue DAGCombiner::visitSTORE(SDNode *N) { [...] // If this is a store of a bit convert, store the input value if the // resultant store does not need a higher alignment than the original. if (Value.getOpcode() == ISD::BIT_CONVERT && !ST->isTruncatingStore() && ST->isUnindexed()) {

What does is() mean?
Suppose you have a class, say sex, for lack of a better example, and you are tempted, in defining the behavior of the call, is(x,"sex") to check whether certain basic features are satisfied, not to just trust the claim that x is specified to be of class "sex". `Without delving into details further sanity checking of the structure of the object is sometimes prudent to avoid

Hi I have started using rails eg: rform and typo, but mostly I do flash dev (I know you guys decided you did not want flash content and used the name for something else!). Anyway what experiments have people been doing, anyone been Ajaxing flash content within rails application or even just embedding in rails, I did not really find anything on using flash in Typo, not that you can''t

\Noselect on virtual folders
Hi, I've some virtual folders which seem a bit odd when they are listed. a LIST "virtual.spam." "*" * LIST (\Noselect \HasNoChildren) "." "virtual.spam." * LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "virtual.spam.unchecked" * LIST (\Noselect \HasChildren) "." "virtual.spam.disagree" * LIST (\HasNoChildren) "."

Pretty-Printing (X)HTML Output
I''ve gone down (hopefully the correct) route of breaking up my layout(s) into common/generic elements such as the html head etc, but when the page renders there is no consistency in indenting - it''s all over the place (I''ve de-tabbed everything with the same result). Is there a standard/existing way of pretty-printing output? I''ve searched without any real

\Noselect missing after deleting mailbox
Hi, With mailbox_list_index enabled (which is the default), Dovecot won't return \Noselect when LISTing a mailbox that was deleted but still has subordinate mailboxes. Before creating such a mailbox in the first place, it does return \Noselect. 1 LIST "" Test 1 OK List completed (0.002 + 0.000 + 0.001 secs). 2 CREATE Test/Test 2 OK Create completed (0.014 + 0.000 + 0.014 secs). 3

Use of NO-NOSELECT in mail_location
I enabled NO-NOSELECT in mail_location as it seemed to be an optimization without negative consequences. The wiki states NO-NOSELECT : Automatically delete any \NoSelect mailboxes that have no children. These mailboxes are sometimes confusing to users. Also if a \NoSelect mailbox is attempted to be created with "CREATE box/", it's created as selectable mailbox instead. The

Forcing NOSELECT for a Maildir folder?
Hello, is it at all possible, possibly without modifying the source code of Dovecot, to enforce that a mailbox gets the NOSELECT attribute? I have a namespace set up like this: namespace private { separator = / prefix = Local Folders/ location = maildir:/xyz/core/store/maildir/%u/ inbox = yes hidden = no list = yes subscriptions = yes } And the folder

Public root folder is \Noselect
I am utilizing a public namespace via http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SharedMailboxes/Public and using sdbox storage format. How can I get rid of the \Noselect flag that is set by default for this folder? \NoSelect on missing folders in LIST
Hi, I noticed a difference between courier and dovecot, and I'm not sure which of them is wrong wrt. RFC3501 - if any. I have a Maildir which has been accessed by an Apple Mail client, so it got folders like: INBOX INBOX.Trash INBOX.INBOX.folder INBOX.INBOX.folder.a INBOX.INBOX.folder.b The INBOX.INBOX folder does not exist on disk and is not subscribed. Courier responds to: . list

dsync \noselect on INBOX.INBOX skips sync of INBOX
Hi Timo, We have encountered an issue today with a number of migrations. Some customers have mailboxes on the source IMAP server that look like this: 3 LIST "" * * LIST () "." "INBOX" * LIST () "." "INBOX.Statements" * LIST () "." "INBOX.Draft" * LIST () "." "INBOX.Drafts" * LIST () "."

\Noselect isn't set on namespace prefix mailbox that can't be selected
Hi, I tried using Nextcloud's Mail app to access my dovecot server (version: 2.2.27 (c0f36b0)), and got an error. The relevant imap log is: C: 3 LIST () "" (*) RETURN (SPECIAL-USE) ... [LLVMdev] load bytecode from string for jiting problem
Hello Willy, Here is the dump from one of my bitcode files: 0000000 42 43 c0 de 21 0c 00 00 25 05 00 00 0b 82 20 00 As expected, 0x42 (= B), 0x43 (= C), xc0 and 0xde are in correct order. In your case, the first byte is read as 37 (= 0x25). I wonder why? When you check the bytes yourself, you get expected results. When the same bytes are read from Stream object, you get a different result (maybe
