Replication between different versions of dovecot
Hi, Can't find any notes about this in documentation. Is replication supposed to work between different versions of dovecot? I've just found that dovecot 2.2.33.1 was uploaded to debian unstable and it crashes on every replication with older dovecot 2.2.27. (version 2.2.32.1 was probably ok) Summary: - 2.2.33.1 crashes when replicating from/to 2.2.27 - 2.2.32.1 probably ok when

Segfault when parsing configuration on x86_64

problem with i_stream_next_line()
Hello there, I have a "subscriptions" file that is *not* ended with a line break (created by another system). When I do a "lsub "" "*"" the last mailbox name is not listed. Debugging a little showed that it looks like i_stream_next_line() is not returning the last line if it doesn't end with a line break. Is this a bug? btw, i'm using version

1.2.6 Spurious pread()/stream errors/index corruption
Hi, We're currently testing 1.2.x with a move from 1.1.x in mind however with the current 1.2 series we are encountering some serious problems. simply editing the main conf and restarting dovecot gives these errors seemingly randomly: (some previous posts indicated this might be todo with 64bit file offsets so we've played around with disable-largefile and setting _FILE_OFFSET_BITS

permanent flags (are very permanent)
Hello, first of all i am not sure wheter this is a correct behavior according to the RFC or not... Problem is, when i set a new custom permanent flag (e.g. testflag) and remove it afterwards, the flag still stays in the list of the permanent flags of this drawer even if there are no messages left with this flag set. So the keyword list gets "polluted" with unused flags. * OK
