Saving Drafts with Roundcube marks old Mails in INBOX as unread.
Hello List,
I have a problem with the client Roundcube. Whenever I save a draft to the Folder INBOX.Drafts a old mail in my INBOX will be marked as unread.
Here are the IMAP Logs from Roundcube and Dovecot debug logs. I have no idea why it happens. The IMAP protocol looks normal to me but as you can see in the second to last line in the Dovecot log Dovecot is changing the flag of an old E-Mail

rawlog change suggestion
I find the separate .in and .out files rather difficult to work with. I
think it would be more useful if the in/out traffic were interleaved with
a prefix to indicate direction, and suffix to indicate continuation, as
recordio (http://cr.yp.to/ucspi-tcp/recordio.html) does:
<a0002 LIST "" ""
>* LIST (\Noselect) ";" ""
>a0002 OK List completed.

namespace trouble
I am having some trouble with dovecot 1.2.12 and some namespace issues, or at
least that's what I think is the issue. I setup a virtual mailhosting using
mysql and postfix. I can receive email and send email without a problem, but
when I use mutt to sign in to dovecot, I can't list any Folders, it see's
INBOX but it doesn't see any mail. I generally try to not post my problems

fetchmail can't talk to dovecot
Hello,
I have dovecot q1.0-0_22.rc7 up and running on a server: I can read
email from squirrelmail just fine. When I try to download email with
fetchmail, however, I get the result below. Why is that happening? In
dovecot.conf I have:
protocols = imap imaps pop3,
so why should pop3 or imap fail? Where should I look?

still getting weird .{inbox} folder creations with latest -test7
Hi,
I am still getting strange creation and mailbox lookups from

dovecot creates in ~/Maildir/

.imap.index
.imap.index.cache
.imap.index.log
.customflags
dovecot-uidlist
.INBOX seems to be a reference to ~/Maildir/{cur,new,tmp} yet I

'doveadm who' enhancement request
When Dovecot is in proxy mode, the client sends along the original
connection endpoints in an ID command. Is there any chance 'doveadm who'
could use this to display the original connection source? As it
currently stands, all I see is a bunch of connections from the proxy.
Thanks!

ioloop.c panic
Timo,
Just this morning I upgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 (hg changeset
66a523135836). A few hours later we had some power problems that caused
the networking to drop out at one site. The directors on the surviving
site all had a few imap-login processes crash with the following error:
Nov 23 09:15:30 cc-director1 dovecot: imap-login: Panic: file ioloop.c:

Quota question.
I have quotas setup with dovecot. Everything seems to be running fine.
Values show up fine in mysql. I set up Roundcube to show quota amounts,
this also works. For some reason it's showing the old value, I had upped
a quot
I assume that dovecot is reporting this wrong since roundcube talks to
dovecot for its info.

Hi,
I am trying to optimize an imap library and I am comparing with some

from roundcube I can log the imap commands with the following format :

Dovecot upgrade from 1.2.x to 2.0.x: roundcube/squirrelmail sent folder doesn't work any more
Hello,
After upgrading from 1.2.x to 2.0.x I'm having problems using sent
folder in Webmail applications like roundcube mail and squirrelmail.
Relevant config dovecot.conf:
mail_location = mbox:~:INBOX=/var/mail/%u
Different LIST behaviour from rawlog:
1.2.x: with Prefix ~/Mail

Dovecot 1.2.6 segfault in imap_fetch_begin
We recently upgraded from Dovecot 1.2.4 to 1.2.6 (with the sieve patches
of course). Everything has been running quite well since the upgrade.
The occasional issue with assert-crashing when expunging has gone away.
However, one of our users seems to have triggered a new issue. She's
been the only one to see it, but whenever she logs in, her imap process
segfaults immediately. It appears that

Significance in Count data
Dear all,
I have some count data and I would like to know how can I assess which are the items in my dataset that have a count significantly smaller or bigger than I would expect (each item with the same number of counts, i.e. from a uniform distribution).
Example file:
Item Count
A0001 48
A0002 39
A0003 28
A0004 16
A0005 13
A0006 2
