CONTEXT=SORT
Any reason this is not listed in the CAPABILITY string? I see it listed as a TODO here: http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Roadmap But it seems to work fine (as of 2.2.12): 1 UID SORT RETURN (CONTEXT COUNT) (SUBJECT) UTF-8 UNDELETED * ESEARCH (TAG "1") UID COUNT 12 1 OK Sort completed (0.000 secs). 2 UID SORT RETURN (UPDATE COUNT) (SUBJECT) UTF-8 UNDELETED * ESEARCH (TAG "2") UID

Virtual mailbox shows mails that are too old

[PATCH V2] ocfs2: need rollback when journal_access failed in ocfs2_orphan_add()
While adding a file into orphan dir in ocfs2_orphan_add(), it calls __ocfs2_add_entry() before ocfs2_journal_access_di(). If ocfs2_journal_access_di() failed, the file is added into orphan dir, and orphan dir dinode updated, but file dinode has not been updated. Accordingly, the data is not consistent between file dinode and orphan dir. So, need to call ocfs2_journal_access_di() before

[PATCH V3 RESENT] ocfs2: lighten up allocate transaction
Hi Andrew Morton, The patch "[patch 05/22] ocfs2: lighten up allocate transaction" in mm tree is not the newest one, please drop it from mm tree. This patch V3 is newest, please replace it. Thanks. The issue scenario is as following: When fallocating a very large disk space for a small file, __ocfs2_extend_allocation attempts to get a very large transaction. For some journal

Using virtual folders with younger and index files
Hi list, I just encountered a problem while using dovecot's Virtual plugin with 2.3.0. I managed to solve the issue, but I wanted to bring it to the attention of others on the list to see if there exists a better solution, if I found a bug, or if it's just a matter of updating documentation. I have a virtual folder to get the most recent two weeks of mails; it looks something like this:

Possible sort optimization (?)
Maybe this is just noise... but I can reproduce this fairly reliably. Mailbox with 21,000+ messages This query: a UID SORT RETURN (ALL COUNT) (DATE) UTF-8 SUBJECT "foo" is always about 10 percent slower than this split query (I've done this 4-5 times, and the numbers are similar): a UID SEARCH RETURN (SAVE) CHARSET UTF-8 SUBJECT "foo" b UID SORT RETURN (ALL COUNT)

charset-specific searches, and continuation lines
Hi there, I'm looking into improving IMAP search support for the Gnus Emacs mail client, and trying to add the ability to search non-ascii characters. So far as I know, I start this invocation with something like: . UID SEARCH CHARSET UTF-8 TEXT {NNN} Where NNN is the number of bytes in my search string. Dovecot then responds with: + OK So... what do I do then? I don't actually know

Attended transfer works for caller, not for callee
Hi, I have been trying to enable attended transfer for callee. When the callee pressed *2, DTMF tone was heard by the caller. But when the caller pressed *2, attended transfer started. It's strange. I used two SIP phones. My Asterisk version is "Asterisk CVS-HEAD built by root@router on a i686 running Linux on 2005-06-27 06:07:18". In features.conf, I have: [featuremap]

"dumb" SATA controller recommendation
Just wondering if any 4.2 users out there have a favourite "dumb" PCI controller to add a couple of SATA ports to a motherboard that doesn't include SATA support. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just 2 SATA ports that a recent vintage kernel will recognize without a lot of configuration gymnastics. The intended use is for relatively light weight internet browser

36 Hours of building file list

The problem is: I can't make a offline of more than 6Hours and my building file list take 36 Hours. I know the only 2 month old files can change between the 2 rsync. Have you a special

Name conflict between Epi and ROC packages
The name conflicts in Epi and ROC packages (2 'ROC' functions are the problem) cause the following code to work once, but not twice: library(MASS); data(cats); x = cats[,2] y = ifelse(cats[,1]=='F',0,1) library(Epi); ROC(x,y,grid=0)$AUC library(ROC); AUC(rocdemo.sca(y, x, dxrule.sca)) What is the standard way of resolving name conflicts? Aw: Re: Panic: Leaked view for index - virtual mailbox
I am pretty sure Synoptic/INBOX/Archives will not be same as INBOX/Archives. a SELECT Synoptic/INBOX/Archives a NO Mailbox doesn't exist: Synoptic/INBOX/Archives (0.001 + 0.000 secs). a SELECT INBOX/Archives * FLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft) * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft \*)] Flags permitted. * 45 EXISTS So as you can see, specifying
