What causes the quota information to get updated?
Hello, if new mails arrive, the quota information is updated and reported via imap immediately. However, after deleting a message, nothing happens. Even if I delete all messages and the mailbox e.g. was over quota, new mails won?t be accepted because the mailbox is over quota. Is this the way it should be or a misconfiguration? # 2.0.4: /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux

Wish: change default log_timestamp
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I'd suggest to change the default value of log_timestamp to something with complete date and time. Currently the string is missing the year. Maybe, %F (ISO date) would fit best. Bye, - -- Steffen Kaiser -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFIHz1uVJMDrex4hCIRAqIiAJsEBSsnhIZg2nGnuzPmJbiSf7VjrwCdHPTX

SSHA256 scheme
Hi again, I`m a bit confused how to store a SSHA256 password in the database and I can`t find any information in the wiki. Do I have to store the SHA256 hash and the salt separately (what would the password_query be like in this way) or just the final SSHA256 hash? Regards Patrick

[PATCH node] iscsi remote root basework This lays most of the groundwork for iscsi installation and configuration. At this time configuring iscsi is disabled due to multiple issues with dependent pieces.
- dracut does not currently support booting a dmsquash file system on an iscsiroot - can not be configured in standalone mode since networking is not up, although works fine if ovirt-config-setup is run once booted. Default and per-User sieve script
Hi guys, is there any way to configure Dovecot to process the default sieve script and, after that, a user specific script? I have a default script to sort spam into a spam folder but if a user specific script is present, the default script is ignored. sieve = ~/.dovecot.sieve sieve_dir = ~/sieve sieve_global_path = /usr/local/etc/dovecot/sieve/default.sieve Regards Patrick

NFS mount permissions
Hi everyone, I would like to move my mails from ocfs2 to an NFS share. As the mountpoint and all folders and files belong to nobody/nogroup, dovecot is only able to access the mails if I give full access to "others". I don't like that. How do you NFS-using guys solve this problem? Regards Patrick

Dovecot deliver logging problem and procmail
Hello! Currently I'm trying to integrate dovecot's deliver program into procmail. So basically I'd write a patch for procmail to deliver not directly into the mbox file but delivering with the dovecot deliver program. Do you think this is a good concept? For testing I use the commands discussed below. Currently I'm having a problem that deliver doesn't recognize the

MCollective discovery - we did not discover any nodes
Hi everyone, I run MCollective 1.2.1 together with ActiveMQ 5.5 under Scientific Linux 6.1 on Amazon EC2. Overall it works like a charm, but sometimes (eg. 1/30) discovery fails. Still the exit-code of mco will be 0, which is a problem for me as I use MCollective e.g. to trigger deployments from Jenkins. I would like to ask for some feedback on the following ideas, that could fix this problem.
