newbie: problem with IMAPS + mutt + Thunderbird
Hi, I'm a Dovecot newbie and have some problems with the configuration/the resulting interoperability. My setup looks like this: I receive my mail using qmail-ldap and sort it with a number of means into ~/Mailbox/ (= INBOX) and ~/Mail/folder/ for various values of 'folder' (generally one folder per mailing list). The sorting is done via .qmail-* files, LDAP entries, and

1.2.10: namespaces and still no luck
Hi, I'm trying to set Dovecot up in a way that is compatible with console usage of the same mailboxes (ie, w/o IMAP). My mailboxen are almost all maildirs (I can ignore all other formats), and are laid out as follows: INBOX = ~/Maildir All other folders are maildirs in ~/Mail Eg. ~/Mail/archive, ~/Mail/sent, ~/Mail/some-mailing-list I configured this, along the lines of

Maildirsize automatically (re)build
Hi, Im testing with 1.1RC1. I read here: http://wiki.dovecot.org/Quota/Maildir "If you configure quota limits in Dovecot (e.g. quota=maildir:storage=102400(kilobytes)), Dovecot makes sure that this header is kept up to date. If the file does not exist, it's simply rebuilt." This is my query: password_query = SELECT username as user, username as userdb_user, passwd as password,

Trouble with Samba 2.2.2 under HPUX (high cpu utilization)
Hello, I have been tracking down a cause for some abnormal CPU utilization with samba. It appears after looking at glance plus that samba is spending the majority of its time (like around 75-80%) doing lstat system calls. When I used tusc I discovered that it appears to be looking for a file /tmp/.winbindd which I am assuming is the unix domain socket for winbind. However this system is not

dovecot 1.x: problem with quota
Hi, I have now verified that there is a problem with quota (and sieve?). Summary: If the "maildirsize" file gets garbled (= every once in a while), mail is getting lost randomly. Details: I have a Debian box (6.0.5/amd64) with a Postfix server (2.7.1), which delivers email via Dovecot (1.2.15) to local disk (ext3). My email is filtered via a sieve script (wish I could have something

Rcmd? Where?
Hello, I got R 1.6.0 for windows and I need Rcmd, which was not included. Where can I get it? (I have to start R and give the name of the file with the R-commands on the command line, so that R is invoked together with its command-file "todo.R". Do I really need Rcmd for that? To write "Rterm todo.R" did not work.) Richard -- Richard M?ller - Am Spring 9 - D-58802

OpenSSH 2.1.1p3 problem on Debian 2.2
Hello, because it doesn't seem as if the upstream tracks OpenSSH close enough I tried to compile from source. It fails on ./configure with the claim that it could not find the OpenSSL installation. But getting the test program right together with an empty main(), I can compile that by hand, resulting in: $ ldd conftest libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x4001a000)

%% in templates
Hiya, I''ve recently updated my svn server so that it checks the syntax of .erb files, on commit, along with .pp files. While doing this, I ran across a small but niggling issue and wanted to see if I was just doing something wrong or if it was a bug. In my sudoers template file, I have a number of lines that start along the lines of: %sup ALL=NOPASSWD: ALL %mon ALL=NOPASSWD: ALL

graphics window closes after invoking
Hi, I hope this is my last stupid question for this project. I run (WinXP) Rcmd* BATCH ToDo.R and want the produced graph to be seen on the display. But after a part of a second the graphics window is closed again. I suppose, because Rcmd does not work interactive, there will be no command like "wait for key pressed" or similar. Is there a possibility to let the window open as long

continuous lines?
Good evening, I can't manage to plot continous lines (x-y representation of measured data): The spreadsheet where the data come from has continuous x-data (0,1,2,3,4, ...), but not every x-datum has a corresponding y-datum. At these "gaps" the graph is not displayed. I want to display the measured data with points, joined by a line ("type=b"), even if there are gaps. Is

position of windows-dialogue
Hello all, to interrupt a BATCH program I inserted, as adviced in this list, a windows dialogue box (winDialog("ok")). The graphic display opens on the right part of the screen, which is OK. The Windows dialoge opens in the center of the screen and hides a part of the graphics window. Is it possible to determine the coordinates where the Windows dialogue box opens? I'd like to

mdbox compression
I was wondering if I should add compression support to mdbox one mail at a time or one file (~2MB) at a time. The tradeoffs are: * one mail at a time allows quickly seeking to wanted mail inside the file, but it can't compress mails as well * one file at a time compresses better, but seeking is slow because it can only be done by uncompressing all the data until the wanted offset is reached

Behaviour of R with win98 and XP?
Dear list, I encounter a strange problem: I hav R (1.6.1) installed on a notebook with winXP-Prof and a similar installation (same path names etc.) on a desktop computer with W98. I use rcmd BATCH filename to display graphs from the data stored in filename. With R on my notebook everything works fine. I have the same data, the same filenames, the same paths on th w98-computer. Here I see just a

using NOPASSWD in sudoers
Hello Everyone, I am trying to change our /etc/sudoers (using visudo) to allow 2 commands to be run as root without a password, but it isn't working. Here is the part of the sudoers file that is in question. # User alias specification User_Alias FULLACCESS = doug, scott # members of the FULLACCESS User_Alias may run chown and chmod without a password FULLACCESS ALL = (root) NOPASSWD:

[LLVMdev] misc CVS patches
Markus, This patch can't be applied. Not all platforms have getgid() and getuid () functions. Placing non-portable code outside of lib/System is deprecated. We set the values to 1000 by default because in general the uid/gid doesn't matter in an archive and the 1000 value gets you to a safe (non-root, non-system) value. If a specific value for these is needed on a given platform, then we
