Hi Timo, hi all,
after upgrading my server (both backends and load balancer) to 2.1.2

balancer.
Log lines are like:

LMTP proxying strategy with multiple recipient delivery
Hi Timo and All,
how does Dovecot act when an MTA tries to deliver a multiple recipient
message to a LMTP proxied system?
Does it uses server affinity table for each recipient?
I use lmtp_destination_recipient_limit = 1 setting in postfix to avoid
multiple recipient delivery. Is it right?
I use lmtp_destination_concurrency_limit = 1 too, but i think that it's
useless or, maybe, it can

is it necessary lmtp and director to avoid index corruption in mail delivery?
Hello all,
If I have several postfix/dovecot-lda boxes with shared nfs storage, how director helps in this scenario? is it necesary to use lmtp instead of dovecot-lda?
With postfix/dovecot-lda boxes incoming mail happens at the smtp layer but director redirects are working in the lmtp/imap/pop3 layer.

Dovecot ontop of glusterfs issue.
Hey,
I am testing Glusterfs as a storage backend for dovecot as a LDA and
imap server.
I have seen similar lines in the logs to these:

[PATCH] nv30/nv40 Gallium drivers unification
Currently the nv30 and nv40 Gallium drivers are very similar, and
contain about 5000 lines of essentially duplicate code.
I prepared a patchset (which can be found at
http://repo.or.cz/w/mesa/mesa-lb.git/shortlog/refs/heads/unification+fixes)
which gradually unifies the drivers, one file per the commit.
A new "nvfx" directory is created, and unified files are put there one by one.

Synthesize low batt (LB) fron SNMP UPS which does not support this?
My $0.02:
LB is baked in to nut behavior. So if a UPS doesn't report LB, then
it makes sense to synthesize it. Synthetic LB is the cleanest fix at
the earlier processing point.
One could have a config that is basically
synthetic-lowbatt-percent
that generates LB if (as Jim says) on battery, not calibrating, and
batt% <= that.
One could have a similar config

Synthesize low batt (LB) fron SNMP UPS which does not support this?
Hmm. Is there maybe something there already that will do this? Maybe kind of back-handed.
In drivers/dstate.c, I see:
In status_init(), if ?driver.flag.ignorelb? is set in the driver state, the ?ignorelb? flag is set.
In status_set(), if ignorelb is set, and the status being set (presumably from the UPS) is LB, it?s ignored. In other words, LB reported by the UPS is ignored.
In status_commit(),

I fully agree and thus this ought to be done in/near uspd IMHO. I
glanced over the server/ directory and was not sure where even to begin

Problem with multiple factors in nlme
Dear R-experts,
I have a problem to formulate non linear mixed effects when more than one
explanatory variable is present. I'm using R 1.1.1 under Linux. The
version number of the nlme library is 3.1-7.
"help(nlme)" says that among several possibilities it is possible to code
fixed effects according to
