Problems setting up dovecot 2.0.1 with kerberos auth
Hi, I'm trying to setup dovecot 2.0.1 on a debian squeeze test box. I want to integrate it into an already working kerberos5 setup, but I don't get it to work. I've added created host/ smtp/ and imap/ service principals with random key for the test machine and added them to its keytab. I can also obtain user credentials using kinit, but when I try to telnet to port 143, I only get

Configuring duplex printing as default: how?
How do you get a printer mapped by Samba to allow duplex printing, or better yet, to set duplex printing as the default? We're trying to migrate an NT4 domain to Samba, with a Solaris 7 server as the new PDC and print server. If our HP LaserJet 8000 DN is mapped via the old NT print server (\\OLDBOX\printer1), printing is duplex by default, but the printer properties allow the users to change

quoting a table name due to a special character in sqlQuery (RODBC)
Dear List, I have a problem with RODBC on a Paradox-DB, sqlQuery, and special characters in table names. Unfortunately, some of the latter include the underscore <_>. And I am not able to change them. That's not a problem, when I quote the table name: > sqlQuery(channel2, 'SELECT * FROM "anmeldung-alt"') Btw, if I swap ' and " it does not work: >

preparing to migrating to new system
hi all, I will be migrating my mail server from centos 4.8 to 6 when its released. Basically its just a number of users with their passwords. Their mail is downloaded to their clients and not stored on the server. What is the most sensible or correct way to migrate ALL the users to the new system? Way in the past is was just perhaps copy the /etc/passwd file but I know thats not the case

kbcached tuning on CentOS 4
Hello, I've been searching to no end at how to tune at what interval (or size) kbcached will be flushed. I had been chasing a potential memory leak until "sar -r", had revealed that all the "mysteriously used" memory was actually being taken up by the kernel data cache. It is chewing up all unused memory on the system slowly over time, which is a concern. Various
