Dovecot Postfix Quota Policy Service
Hallo zusammen,

quota-warning example script from wiki2
Hi,
in the wiki there's an example script for sending an email to an user
that has exceeded his quota.
Link: http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Quota/Configuration
The dovecot deliver command line is:
dovecot-lda -d $USER -o "plugin/quota=maildir:User quota:noenforcing"
I wonder about
-o: seems to be "undocumented" because I've found no information about
this parameter.

Dict quota calculation errors "remote disconnected"/"broken pipe" on 2.22.
Keywords: dovecot, dict, quota, postgre sql, broken pipe, remote
disconnected
Having Dovecot 2.2.22 (fe789d2) with Postgre SQL 9.5
(9.5.5-0ubuntu0.16.04) as the backend. I do not understand why quota
service is not working, not seeing it as a configuration error at least.
My quotas are DICT/SQL based.

mdbox expunge purge question
Hi,
I'm testing Dovecot 2.0rc2 with mdbox mail format and I'm not sure
what this exactly means:
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/dbox
Quote from wiki page:
=====
Expunging a message only decreases the message's refcount. The space
is later freed in "purge" step. This may be done automatically within
the session or later in a nightly cronjob when there's less

Problem with quota warning
Hi again,
my test environment is working now and finally I tried to implement my
quota warning but it is not working. LDA says the mailbox is full even
it is not (only 81% and that is why the quota warning is executed).
Further I used :noenforcing in my script.

Quota not working with dict proxy
Hello all,
I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before, but my googlefu is not up
to the challenge.
Basically, I'm trying to configure quota plugin to use a dictionary
service (specifically proxy with mysql) so that I can store the quota
usage in a database and use that information in a lookup for postfix to
reject mail if over quota. I'm doing this because postfix+avamis+dovecot

?doveadm quota recalc -u alessio at skye.it? dovecot return a ?Segmentation

(55cdc32) works fine.
This is my quota backends configuration:

quota2 = dict:Quota Usage::noenforcing:proxy::sqlquota

Home-Shares are not writeable
Hello everyone!
After running Samba on several machines for some years, I just came
accross a rather strange problem. The short story is that the special
user home shares are readable, but not writeable.
Here's the long story: The system is a freshly set-up Debian Squeeze,
right out of the box. This is the Samba config:

v1.2.beta2: Fatal: io_loop_handle_add: epoll_ctl(1, 10): Bad file descriptor
Hi Timo,
I'm playing with Dovecot v1.2.beta2 currently. When the dict process was
started via deliver(?) and Dovecot is killed (kill $PID_OF_DOVECOT)
after delivering only one message, it logs:
Fatal: io_loop_handle_add: epoll_ctl(1, 10): Bad file descriptor
If the dict process was not started or deliver has delivered more than
one message, the error doesn't occur.
I'm not using

2.2.4 - Some questions about and needing help with quota-status
Help! I'm stuck. :-(
The config of my experimental setup appears at the end of this message; I'm providing hereafter some more info that may not be immediately obvious.
This is dovecot 2.2.4 with changesets 9091d0f2d971 and 2be295a0b64f.
All involved databases are sqlite ones.
passdb and userdb are devised so as to change usernames.
For example, I could have a user with addresses
