Questions about dbox (sdbox?), mdbox
Hello, So ive spent the last 45 minutes or so searching the list for dbox stuff, but Im not seeing anything real definitive. My question is basically whether the dbox format is ready for production environment, is sdbox or mdbox more stable/ready than the other or does it matter? What are people's experience/review with running this format (and if you reply can you tell me which one

Installing from source (git, hg) on a fresh debian box
Oye 3 days on this now, my head hurts. I have spent what seems like 40 hours in the last 3 or 4 days reading, and I realize xen is in the middle of this transition of getting into mainline kernel, issues with dom0 etc etc. Ok, so i have come across a few howtos/tutorials on installing xen dom0 kernel, using git to download a patched? kernel tree, and getting xen source from mercurial. Below is my

ITSP's no longer supporting IAX?
After a variety of connectivity problems, my itsp (Unlimitel.ca) blamed the problem on the IAX protocol. They told me that as of Asterisk 1.4 the IAX protocol went downhill and many carriers (like VoicePulse) are discontinuing support for IAX. Is this correct? We are all heading for SIP? [PATCH] appliance: Make sure /tmp and /var/tmp are real directories.
Currently if /tmp (on the host) is a symlink, then the symlink is copied into the appliance, probably pointing to a non-existent directory, and everything goes downhill from there. Avoid this by making sure that /tmp and /var/tmp are real directories. --- appliance/init | 5 +++++ 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+) diff --git a/appliance/init b/appliance/init index 3c5ef1b..3973f18 100755 ---

SOLVED: Centos 7: printing four copies with Libreoffice prints garbage
After much head scratching and throwing most of a ream of paper into the trash, I just found and solved the problem. Thinking that perhaps I have a cable issue, I was re-seating the usb cable that connects my Xerox Phaser 3250 printer to the computer and realized that the printer was plugged into a USB 3.0 port on my computer. When I moved it to a USB 2.0 port, the printer immediately started

rSpec troubles
Hello All, I am hoping someone can help me. I am having a nightmare of a time trying to get rSpec to work. It was working at one time, but I tried installing Zentest to get autotest to work with rSpec and it''s been downhill ever since. Here are the gems I have installed in my rails app: ZenTest 3.6.1 if it matters (technically this is in my Ruby gems list and not in my vendor

Input from xen hosting providers?
This is my second mail because the first one turned into a two page novel. Basically my question is this, what is your opinion on the following, in regards to having to know about the os and USE in your hosting environtment. Here is my problem... We have a sales guy that sold people on the idea of having 4 windows clients, and 2 "filestore" servers. filestore1 backs up to filestore2 so

Different mdbox_rotate_size for primary and alternate storage
Hello. In order to speed up backups of very very old messages I would like to set two different limits for mdbox_rotate_size. Like, 50M for primary storage and 100M or larger for alternate storage. There is no mention in docs or such a possibility, so I assume it is not possible. Is that correct? While I am at it, is it possible to configure primary storage as maildir (sturdy indexes) and

What does the mdbox_rotate_size influence?
I wondered why mdbox_rotate_size is 2MB by default. I thought if I increased it to 16MB, maybe there would be less disk io, but I dont see any difference. Furthermore I read in some thread that increasing it from 2MB, could give problems when deleting messages, can someone explain this? Does anyone have this on a cephfs mount, does it make sense to set this to 4MB? [@test2 ~]# pr -m -t

Questions about FLAC documentation
I'm implementing a FLAC decoder from scratch (save OGG stuff if I can help it) because libFLAC simply will not fit my embedded platform, For the most part I'm implementing using just the documentation but not all of the documentation is concise (especially about variable sized fields) and after looking at the libFLAC source I find myself befuddled so I thought it best to get the

OCFS disk failure problem.

A derivative of it, that exposes a general API to do tap-device-like things using stdio and command line options, could be called over its general API from OpenSSH though. Questions about FLAC documentation
FlacNetLib was by far the most useful code reference. if you dont know object oriented programming then you need to muddle through libFLAC as i havent seen any other implementation that isnt OO. -Gravis On Sun, Nov 4, 2012 at 1:16 PM, Serban Giuroiu <giuroiu at gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, Gravis. > > I'm trying to build a FLAC encoder from scratch. Hi everyone Been spending the whole day on the wiki and in the list archives on using dovecot for POP3 mail. I'd like to present my findings and ask for some feedback. Our current software setup: * Courier-IMAP running POP3/IMAP * Postfix MTA * MySQL backend for user and login info As for the system layout, it looks like this: * NFS server which is the same server that houses single
