Errors after install with non-standard prefix
Hi Everyone, I'm new in dovecot - so first at all, thank you for amazing work. I'd flicked through dovecot code and it's very accurate. I'm trying to use dovecot with a little bit non-standard configuration: dovecot installed under /my_path/dovecot, all users has the same home directory /my_path/var/mail and have to access all mailboxes/folders located there. But I have

I?m working on an OS project from github. There are two parts: Dovecot plugin - https://github.com/st3fan/dovecot-xaps-plugin Daemon written in Go - https://github.com/st3fan/dovecot-xaps-daemon # dovecot --version 2.2.10 Both parts worked fine on CentOS 6 but I recently rebuilt them both for CentOS 7 and have run into some errors. The plugin sends a notification over a socket to

EOF from net_disconnect(fd)
I'm not the originator. I'm just trying to do some maintenance on the code to make it work for CentOS 7. I'll check out those two. Any ideas on how to check exactly what's sent via the socket? If the EOF is sent, I know to dig further into the daemon code. Thanks, Steffan Cline steffan at hldns.com 602-793-0014 > On Sep 7, 2017, at 11:43 PM, Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at

Link statically against libc++ on Cray XC 40
Hi folks, In our scientific simulation tool, we set up our build system to link against LLVMSupport to print stack traces for debugging purposes, also from other compilers. This works very well on most hosts, but we fail to make it work with gcc on a Cray XC 40 cluster. They have a very restrictive toolchain setup (everything is controlled by the “module” command; you never get to see any real

files lost in the zpool - retrieval possible ?
Greetings, my Opensolaris 06/2009 installation on an Thinkpad x60 notebook is a little unstable. From the symptoms during installation it seems that there might be something with the ahci driver. No problem with the Opensolaris LiveCD system. Some weeks ago during copy of about 2 GB from a USB stick to the zfs filesystem, the system froze and afterwards refused to boot. Now when investigating

Hi! Nice to hear you are developing this, I'll add it to our wiki if it's not there. Please don't use net_transmit, it's going away. You should use ostream and istream instead. libwrap-ing IMAP and POP logins
Since I've been using this for maybe a year now, maybe someone else is interested in restricting IMAP and POP logins via libwrap. In addition to the attached patch (against 1.0.5) to src/login-common/main.c, src/{imap,pop3}-login/Makefile.in have to be modified to link against libwrap. Of course, the option needs to be integrated into configure in the long run. -------------- next part

rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer
Hi there; Although I have seen a few people had the same problem but can't figure out eventually what they have done to resolve it! This is why I ask this again. I have configured rsync to be run as a daemon server and run the following command line. What could be wrong that I get this error: [I have no problem with the reverse function, I mean if we call this one as 'put' I can

libvir: Remote error : cannot recv data: : Connection reset by peer
I'm using Libvirt's Java API and connecting to the hypervisor using the same. My program is such that periodic discovery of active VMs is done using Libvirt's functions. However, when I try to perform any VM related operations while the Java code connecting to Qemu is running such as shutdown, start VM using virsh, I end up with : 'libvir: Remote error : cannot recv data: :

[PATCH] (Resubmission) 'Connection reset by peer' with rsync server on cygwin
Hello? Concerns were raised about the action of shutdown() on Unices - I replied with evidence suggesting that this would not be a problem. I have not heard anything since. If this has to be held over to 2.6.0, fair enough - but please tell me whether itjust needs time, or me to go and fix something??? Thanks Max. BEGIN PATCH diff -mru rsync-2.5.5/clientserver.c
