Hi
We are currently running samba on a solaris 10 server and need to move it to a new solaris 10 server.
After copy over smb.conf and the /etc/samba/private directory, which includes three files:

tdb_mmap problem with Samba 3.07 on Solaris 5.9
I just compiled Samba 3.07 on a Solaris 5.9 machine. Samba is configured to be a
PDC (with a smb.conf running well on another System) And now when starting the
smbd I'm getting many failure notices like the following:
tdb(/usr/local/samba/var/locks/sessionid.tdb): tdb_mmap failed for size 696
(Resource temporarily unavailable)
tdb(/usr/local/samba/var/locks/connections.tdb): tdb_mmap failed

password reset using admin keytab on domain member
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to use something like
samba-tool user setpassword ... -k yes
on a domain member if one has kerberos tickets for an admin account.
That does not seem to work for me, as the above command appears to try
to write to the database directly...
ltdb: tdb(/var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb): tdb_open_ex: could not open
file /var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb: No such file

DomainDnsZones bad magic
I've been called back to an old workplace to try to help with some issues
that they have and have found that the DomainDnsZones database is not
replicating. Everything else in the replication seems to be fine.
I ran a samba-tool dbcheck on the affected server and it returns:
ltdb:
tdb(/var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb.d/DC=DOMAINDNSZONES,DC=MYDOMAIN,DC=MYCOMPANY.ldb):

FreeBSD pam auth problems
I'm impressed by dovecto and try to upgrade my home system from
wu-imapd running there for last 5 years to dovecot.
It's straghtforward FreeBSD setup with ssl-only auth,
inboxes in /var/mail and user mail under %h/Mail
But I get some strange error:
Fatal: userdb didn't return a home directory, but mail location used
it (%h): %h/Mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u
Thank you in advance!

Redirected folders no longer working correctly
I have a new problem. I'm currently running Samba4 4.4.16 as an AD/DC. I've been running this
AD/DC for several years now. I am using redirected folders. Up to now, domain users logging
onto any domain member Windows workstation would get their desktop. Recently I discovered that
users now only get their desktop on their "usual" workstation, and the Desktop Target is in
fact
