puppet class and user groups question
Hi all,
so,
summary: I am cant think of a way to supply group creds on the same group to two different classes that both require access to the ssl certificates. The ssl certs are group but not world accessible, ''mode => 660''.
I have ldap doing tls, in one class, so the ldap user needs to be in the sslcerts group, and httpd::ssl, so apache needs to be in the sslcerts group.

Dovecot Maildir ownership/permission problem
Hi,
I have successfully configured Dovecot+Postfix+SSL/TSL and it seems that
everything is working except that I have a permission problem with the items
under Maildir.
When a mail is first delivered into a user, Postfix automatically creates
the Maildir using the user's account and group. It is readable only by the
user. This seems to be the correct setting for me, as only the user could

dovecot2 Beta2: different certs for imaps and pop3s
Hello,
is it possible to use differnent ssl certs for pop3 and imap ?
I like to have differnet dnsnames for pop3 an imap services configured at
customers clients.
I tried to configure ssl_key and ssl_cert inside a <protocol>-login {} section
but this failed.
Of course I know sslcerts containing multiple dnsnames.
But this seemes not a real, clean solution to me.

seen before. Searching the archives, this bug seems to occur very seldom.
The current server installation & configuration is running since mid
2015, uptime of the server today is more than two months. It is a
virtual machine in a data center, debian 7 / reiserfs, 'dovecot -n'

1.2.11, mbox, new mail
With 1.2.11 and mbox storage, the delay time in pulling new mail headers to
the client from imap folders seems to be directly proportional to mailbox
size, regardless of the number of new messages. At present, if the mailbox is
large, pulling new headers is rather painfully slow.
Is this expected behavior? Especially given that the client already has all
the "old" mails in the folder

Choppy sound in voicemail using Asterisk 1.2.11 on CENTOS4 guest on vmware server
I have had no success in getting the voicemail working on Asterisk 1.2.11 on CENTOS4(2.6 kernel) guest on vmware server 1.0.1. I tried with or without ztdummy device, renice -20 on asterisk process and even real-time priority on the host Windows XP box for the vmware process. I am running on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+. The behaviour is when the voicemail answer, the voice sound ok but when

somebody using Net::Sieve (Perl) with dovecot 1.2.11?
Hello,
I've just (hopefully) fixed some issue with Net::Sieve (0.05) to
cooperate with a current (1.2.11) dovecot managesieve server and
STARTTLS.
Does somebody use this Perl library? If yes, did it work for you
(STARTTLS triggers the problem)? If not, which other (Perl) library do
you use?
